cant they solve a problem without referring to the bible and/or argue intelligently without relying on an old book that as been changed and revised so many times, even though its suppose to be the ALMIGHTY word? Kind of makes me doubt it if it can be edited so easily by regular people.

The church in Los Angeles or something has given out $660,000,000 (£330,000,000) to hundreds possibly thousands of former-children who had been sexually abused ranging from $100,000-$4,000,000...

Why is the church a breeding ground for sexual predators? The Vatcian has also been in on this "game" (Source: Panorama TV series) ...

I thought the church was against rape, sodomy, and sexual abuse or abuse for that of any kind?

So religion is basically worse for children and getting their hopes down and their belief in god falls as well...

So why does the church breed these predators?

Religion is a ironic thing really - BAD for people...especially for future Christians...

If you were born, but instead of raising you, your parents left you a note saying they love you very very much and they want the best for you, but they never came to see you, never called you, never spoke to you or contacted you in any way. What's more, they never told you WHY they couldn't be with you. Just left you a note reassuring you they "really do love you." How would you feel about that??? Would that make any sense to you? Would you believe they loved you? And would you love them back?

I think you all get the analogy I'm trying to make here.

(P.S. - I'm a Christian. But one who's been getting more frustrated w/ God by the day.)

This guy actually says that he shouldn't listen to his own bible and says that its a Christians job to judge people even though a Christians own bible says "Judge not lest ye be judged".

You know, if hell exists, this guys going to it with the rest of us nonChristians.

The LDS faith teaches that almost all (except apostates like myself and murders) go to heaven. Jesus said in John 3:18, "He that believeth on Him is not condemned:but he that BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

So who believes in a free pass to heaven? I think that is the LDS church. They believe that as long as you aren't apostate of a murderer you can get to heaven- nothing else required. Christians believe as Christ taught- to escape condemnation you must have faith in Christ.

this is my first receptionsit job, and i was wonder what are the polite and correct ways to say these things.
1.) how do i tell a customer that the person they are looking for is busy (like, on the phone or they just don't want to speak to the customer - but i won't say that!), and that i can transfer them to their voicemail
2.) that the person is not in today, and that i can transfer them to their voicemail
3.) the person is on another phone call, and i can tranfer to voicemail
or any other situations that might arise?
please teach me proper receptionsit etiquette!

Don't get me wrong, I love animals and I hate dog fighting but I see how upset people are getting with Michael Vick and I wish more people would get that upset with the people that are running the abortion clinics. They call themselves doctors and they are making a profit by killing babies.
