You wouldn't have liked Jesus Christ.
He liked to do that often.

Techman: Matter of fact, I do.
Personally I am a Christian. But I know that the bible isn't the 1st word God spoke and it's not the last. I know that the bible, if approached with any iota of intelligence, will raise more questions than it answers.
That's why God gave us brains.
If somebody likes to quote scripture to inspire him/herself or to help inspire other people, fine. But the people who want to pull out biblical references for every existential human question, thinking they have some definitive answer, are full of baloney. In my humble opinion.

no man that is our manual, when we have a problem we can go there if find how to fix it. Yes you are right it has been translated so many times, but if you campare them, the meanings are the same, let me give you an example, the word kindness, there is no translation of this word to spanish, so people try to came as close as they can, same as hebrew, there are vowel in this language, so it all depend on who translates the bible, but trust me the meanings are the same, if you don't believe me, compare them your self. If you really want to khow what the bible saids, learn how to read hebrew and greek.

Sorry , dont mean to annoy you, honestly we dont. But the reason a true Christian will always quote from sciripture, is that every solution to every problem is found there. God gives us first His promises, and then the devil send a problem, and we go to God and His word and HE offers is provision for a way out.
Promise, Problem, Provision oh yeah, works every time and anyone knowing this will always point you to Gods word, cuz its all just there. Why do you fight knowing that? Have you tried this? Have you studied with a Chrsitan pastor or leader to learn any of this? Why are you willling to so easily lose the gift God has give to us all , by refusing to accept it. ITs not too late tho. God is eager to forgive, but you must ask and be willing to love Him, know Him and let Him speak to you about how to live as He lived free of sin.
If you dont want these teachings, why are you on a spiritual /religion site?? Always amazes me still .
Its liek I would never go to a devil worshippers site as I am reviled by their beliefs and wont see or hear them. So if you are coming here, you are looking for something. Keep coming, and one day you may find it right here , and in the word of God. I will pray for you my friend, even tho you hate me God lvoes us all the same.
Yep l Corin 13, the Love chapter God is a God of love. The devil is about hate and division. Which do you choose? Choice is yours , but do it soon and wisely. JEsus is coming soon and we must do this before JEsus comes again or we die, whichever comes first. To know the glorious plan and love of God is worth everything we have to give it. Nothing quite like it. Find Jesus today my friend, you will enver regret it. Its not about the phony religious ppl you often see in church and sometimes their off the wall believes. As long as mankind is invovled, ppl will mess things up that dont truly know God yet, but do love to wear the label CHRISTIAN> GOd sayd by their frutis ACTIONS we will know them.
Look around you, who do you see showing love and preaching lvoe?
and when we warn you a bout hell, its love too tho, as we want to warn you so you can avoid going there ever.
If you want to udnerstand the Bible, we must get to the study of the old greek and hebrew words and learn to know from the original texts and I tell you what, Chrsitians are missing so much by not knowing this Dont try to edit us away as you cant edit God away, one day all will stand before Him, and will you get to be in Heaven or hell. that choice is only yours to make. Thats why He warns us how not to lose the gift HE brings.

It's only annoying when people cite it for my problems. That person's a middleman for all I care; I'd read just the Bible on my own if I wanted to.

It annoys me. I like to hear what that certain individual has to say. I don't want a cut and paste answer that some bronze age sheep herder wrote. But, this is a free country so they can keep doing as much as they want and I will keep getting annoyed by it.

Actually, No, I think it is wonderful. The Bible is God's word and it is one of the ways we can hear God's voice. You should try reading it sometime, I think you would be surprised by what it actually says.
Or, you could try reading "A Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. He was trying to disprove Christianity when, like so many others, came to realize the truth of it!

What "changes" are you talking about, buckaroo? I'd ask that you be more specific, but you'd need to read the Bible for that, then you couldn't ask about it because you would be using the Bible to ask a question.
