Well let's see
(1) There are "myriads and myriads" of them
(2) They were created before humans. Each one an individual creation since they do not procreate. isn't that amazing?
(3) Satan the Devil was one of those angels. He later rebelled because he wanted the glory rightfully due GOD to be directed toward him
(4) Other angels rebelled. They are the ones who in Noah's day "forsook their original positions" and came down to be with human women. Those are the ones we refer to as demons.
(5) Some demons are apparently more powerful than others since there's an account in the Gospels (my apologies I don't remember the actual scriptural citation right now) where Jesus' disciples tried to expell a demon from a possessed man and couldn't. It required intervention by Jesus himself.
(6) There are different categories of angels.. Aside from the "Angels" (Messengers) there are Cherubs and Seraphs. Of Course there is Michael THE Archangel.
I hope that gives you a head start on the information you want. :)

I am not christian, but if you look through the demonic heirarchy based from the bible used in things like the goetian lesser keys of solomon, each demon has a different thing that humanity craves/lusts for.
It is possible that demons are just a metaphor to describe the things which we crave for or hunt after, which only set our life in a destructive spiral.
I believe there are different dimensions of existence however, in which situation there must be things which would appear quite demonic to us.
Edit: Also note, in the demonic heirarchy Satan and Beelzebub are not one in the same, Beelzebub is the lord of the flies, Lucifer is the morning star and Satan is the king of hell otherwise known as Baal or Abaddon.
There are many different dukes/princes and so on who each rule over hells legions. Some of these are known as Stolas and Valefor.
If your interested in knowing more look up the Lesser Keys of Solomon which includes ancient rituals which are supposed to use the seals/sigils of both angels and demons as protective/destructive roots.
Remember, as much as people may believe angels are the nice ones and demons the evil, both have the ability to appear as beautiful and each grotesque. It depends on the nature of what they were sent for.
If you see the Arch Angel Michael on the day of reckoning i am pretty sure he will not be as nice as the depictions.

Hebrews 1:13 says that all angels are ministering spirits who minister to the saints (believers)
Demons are the other 1/3 of the angels who were cast out of heaven with lucifer.........and they are here on the earth.
Edit:
It means that we are protected by them. Angels listen only to God....not to us.

We know that all children have what we could call guardian angels, as explained by Jesus in the following Bible verse.(Matthew 18:10) “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.”
All children are protected until they reach the age of accountability. Once they reach the age of accountability, they need to get right with God to maintain His protection, and go to heaven. You can find out more about children going to heaven on this page by clicking here.
A different verse indicates that adult Christians also have guardian angels. (Hebrews 1:14) "Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?" Here, “those who will inherit salvation” refers to adults who have gotten right with God.
The word “angel” actually comes from the Greek word aggelos, which means “messenger.” The matching Hebrew word mal'ak has the same meaning. Angels are not glorified human beings. (Matthew 22:30) explains that they do not marry or reproduce like humans, and (Hebrews 12:22-23) says that when we get to the heavenly Jerusalem, we will be met by “myriads of angels” and “the spirits of righteous men made perfect”—two separate groups.
We don't know whether every angel carries out the same tasks, or whether some of them specialize in certain areas. The Bible does speak about classes of angelic beings like cherubim (Ezekiel 1) and seraphim (Isaiah 6). We also know the names of two notable angels: Michael (Daniel 10:13; Jude 9) and Gabriel (Daniel 9:21; Luke 1:19,26).

Both angels and demons, like God&Satan are spirits. The difference like God&Satan is one is on the side of good(angels)
,the other on the side of wickedness(demons)
Angels will generally visit someone if God has given them a task concerning that person or people
Demons will visit you as oft as they can, especially if your hear is hardened toward God.By doing that you have made yourself an open door for demons to come in and attack. The only way of ridding them is if they leave(unlikely) or if you get Christ in your heart and life to reform your person.

It relies upon on in case you have considered greater than a number of of them, then you definitely understand. yet, i will inform you this, that they do no longer seem the comparable. they might appear like human beings, yet no longer continuously. they might have wings or might desire to no longer. additionally they arrive in distinctive sizes, yet incredibly often angels are very tall, like 7-9 feet. The robes are long to the feet, and are probable to be staggering white lined with bright gold (as one I observed). Demons additionally are available distinctive sizes. they're probable to come again in a hooded black gown right down to the feet, yet can attempt to lie to you by way of looking yet in a distinctive way.
