Depends on what you mean by "beat" and what the circumstances are.
If you consider a slap on the pants for doing something wrong "beating", which I don't, I don't think that's wrong.
If your kids are of adult age and really do something that deserves being beat up for, then that might not be wrong either.
If you mean hurting young children far in excess of anything they deserve, then, no, I can't see many circumstances where that would be right. And keep in mind that "deserve" has to be generously interpretted given that they don't really have good decision making skills yet.

I have 7 children. 5 boys, 2 girls. I do not have to beat them. Why because I am consistent. I send the same message everyday. My children are not only well behaved, but they always do well in school and have many teachers calling my wife and I to tell us what a joy they are. I have one in the Army other on the way. straight a students. None of the will be in court as a defendant. Why because I come home every night to my wife whom I respect and who respects me. We live by the rules we tell our kids they should follow. We spend time with them as a family unit and give the individual attention that they need. And finally they are not spoiled. They earn the privilages they get. So no don't beat your Children in exchange for being a parent.

NO, it is not o.k. to beat your kids....
a pat on the bottom is o.k.....every 3 yr old kid has to walk into the street..every 3yr old kid gets a pat on the butt and a big NO!!Don't do that again!!
some of these kids in schools today...? didn't their mother EVER give them a spank and a NO??
seems rather strange that it is only the past 40 years or so that people seem to think spanking is wrong.....sure have a lot more violent crime in the past 40 years too....
It also depends on the personality of a child......one kid the time out chair works great....the other kid the time out chair is a projectile.....

you may desire to guard YOUR new child! you may desire to make your domicile "an anti-violence domicile." the place there will be 0 tolerance of ANY style of violence from every physique. you may desire to make a punishment & follow it & who ever hits is then punished. as an occasion: The cousin hits your new child, then he's put in an afternoon out chair or a closet(heehee). Then he's set unfastened & placed back in as many cases as is neccessary. Now in case your new child hits the cousin first & the cousin retaliates, then they're the two punished. The cousin will probable beat the greater youthful young ones whilst they become older, so which you will desire to nip it interior the bud now! The cousin might commence mendacity in case you do the time-out concern & say that your son grow to be hitting too. so which you will be carefull. you moreover mght could make it so as that they in simple terms play in a million-2 spots interior the domicile. it is your domicile & your new child, you need to be greater impregnable with the mummy & cousin. in the event that they do no longer like it, then they do no longer could bypass to so often. it is not user-friendly on your new child & it is not user-friendly to you. good success!

It is ok to discipline them by spanking them. Beating a child with a belt, or something else is cruel.....and not ever necessary. Kids need discipline, they don't need a bruise.
