On one level, yes. But on another level, pain serves a very important function, at least in the here and now. Imagine if you had no pain sensors whatseover, and you backed into a hot stove. You'd just stand there frying yourself, rather than immediately jumping out of the way. Pain, like everything else, has a purpose.

I would love to go to heaven~! I dont know if thats what you mean but I stand by what I say~! PPl might not agree with what I say but we will all find out at the end of time. You can give me all the thumbs down but its not gonna change my mind and I hope that you will change yours before its to late. Pain is an important thing right now here on earth but so is Faith~! And to the person who asked this question...What do you believe?

No, sadists and masochists would definitely not want to go to a place like that. So, obviously _everybody_ wouldn't like to go such a place, some people might like it, but not everybody.
One thing that everyone that answers this question might want to keep in mind - if atheists are correct in their beliefs, then your grave will be a place were there is no pain. (If you have ceased to exist, you will cease to feel pain - or anything else). Would you all like to go to your grave right now? Hm?

Everybody? I can't answer for everybody, but I will answer for myself. Yes, I would like to go to a place where there is no pain, but only on the condition that I remember what pain was like. Otherwise it would be impossible to fully appreciate a painless existence.

some of the people who answered this question just dug their own grave and probably dont even realize it. when you day things out of your mouth you are speaking them into existence. i would never say i want to be tortured for eternal life. But to answer your question properly YES i would like to a place where there is no pain. And no to the person who said we are all going to the same place because we were created by the same god i hate to burst your bubble but just because he created all of us dont mean we all going to the same place. the ones who follow him are the ones who are going but the ones who mock him and question his word in the bible and the ones who are non-believers you will be going to hell. but god is giving you every opportunity to get back with him but you choose to lean unto your own understanding instead doing what you was designed to do. which is live for god! please wake up before its to late

No, I'd rather stay here, but have the pain element completely removed.

No, pain is useful. Haven't you heard of those kids who can't feel pain? They break their arms, sustain terrible burns, etc. They can't even feel when a mosquito is biting them in order to swat it off. And emotional pain is useful too, it's how we learn about what's important.

Most people fail to understand the utility of pain, for it is pain that makes us strive to grow and better ourselves.

We'll all get to "that place" since we all go back to the same Divine Source we all came from.
But meanwhile, since we are in this earthly realm, with pain, comes growth and lessons learned. If we choose to do so.

No thanks. We have a few of those here in town. They're called crack-houses and heroin dens.
Blissed out euphoria, whether pharmaceutically or religiously induced does not appeal to me.
True joy requires pain. Life and growth don't come from a lack of pain.
