I regret "laying out" in the hot midday sun of the midwest, lathered in baby oil on top of someone's roof.

What was I thinking?!

I regret ever wasting time on what other people thought of me and for ever thinking being popular in school was the only way to be happy. I regret dating men that were conartists, cheaters, toxic and abusive with no intentions of ever being accountable or responsbile.

I regret that I did not wait on Gods timing to start in a dating relaionships as I was put through hell.

And lastly I regret that I did not respect myself and like myself and I did not have confidence in my self.

But the Lord has forgiven those things and has helped me to grow and learn and respect God and myself.

Well, without going into a long drawn out spiel.....

what I do regret...Not visiting more with my granny. I wonder now about her life. She was a flapper.

Not paying more attention to my parents...

Sleeping through geometry.

Smoking under the bleachers instead of watching the football games.

Knowing all the BeeGees, and having their picture on my wall...

I am sure there are "big" regrets, but that is a long gone day.

I regret that I was so bone-headed that I missed a lot of clues that this one girl was interested in me.

It wasn't until years later, thinking back on some of the things she said and did that it became freakin' obvious.

Most of the other really stupid things I did were ones that could have gone horribly, horribly wrong and caused great injury to myself. Fortunately, I survived all those, and didn't hurt anyone else, so I don't really regret them (but I sure wouldn't do them again, nor would I encourage anyone else to).

There I was, in the midwest, lathered in baby oil,on top of my roof watching some girl with binoculars(i mean, she didn't have binoculars...I did...anyhow..I rolled off the roof and landing on some pinecones...yeeocch.. LOL

God taught me a valuable lesson that day,Only girl watch, when your feet are firmly planted on a flat roof....maybe there was another lesson that I missed, altogether, silly teenagers, thank God I am much older and mature, now.

Seriously,I regret having used drugs...but God had a much better plan for my "high in life" and pulled me out of the multi-colored lights into his glorious light.

I am like haysoos2, a little bit. There was a girl I first met when we were teenagers. We really liked each other, but I was struggling at the time. I didn't let her get near me. I last saw her when I was in my mid-20s. Still interested in each other, but I disappeared from her life.

I was a very reasonable, drama-free teenager. It's some of the acts in my early 20's that I now regret. Delayed rebellion and all that. :)
