Jesusisking, your lack of what the trinity is is made up in your obvious prejudice of a specific religious group. This question is for people of all religions, but instead of answering the question, you choose to let others see what a religious bigot you are. For shame!

Certainly not.

What about the verses where the Father and the Son are mentioned but the holy spirit is not? Trinitarians will still argue that this means God is a trinity, although the third "person" is not included.
The god of this world (Satan) is very deceptive and the trinity doctrine is undeniable proof that his tactics are working.

Read it like it was originally written. The Father Son Holy Spirit without conjunction. It does not constitute a trinity God, who is divided into 3 distinct persons which implies there are three separate beings. Ever seen 3 kings on one throne? Somebody has to be in charge.

MANY JEHOVAH WITNESSES GET THIS MIXED UP.

The 'trinity' (not named in the bible) is not 3 equal parts, at least not defined by the word of God. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all different entities but at the same time God with their own functions.

1) The Father- creator and heaven of all that was, is, and to come- nothing or no one is above the Father- PERIOD (words of Jesus Matt 23:9)

2) Holy Spirit - omni present, one is blessed with the holy spirit when you truly accept the salvation of Jesus Christ- guides, convicts one to do what is right.

3) Jesus- the word of God - John 1:14, and savior of all those believing in His sacrifice. JESUS IS THE CENTER OF CHRISTIANITY- HE IS GOD, YOU CANNOT DIG HIM UP.

You CAN dig up Charles Taze Russell- with the pyramid for the a headstone that he personally picked out. When Jesus made a prediction- it became true 100% of the time. Charles Taze Russell predicted the end of the world for 1914- we are still here. He was a MAJOR FALSE PROPHET!

A message to Jehovah Witnesses- you might want to stop leading people into darkenss- there's a special place in hell for that.

‘Christ according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity, the Father being the first and the holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Christ is his own father and his own son. The Holy Ghost is neither father nor son, but both. The son was begotten by the father, but existed before he was begotten--just the same before as after. Christ is just as old as his father, and the father is just as young as his son. The Holy Ghost proceeded from the Father and Son, but was an equal to the Father and Son before he proceeded, that is to say before he existed, but he is of the same age as the other two. Nothing ever was, nothing ever can be more perfectly idiotic and absurd than the dogma of the Trinity.’----- Col. Robert G. Ingersoll

Absolutely not.

Example: Michael, his wife and his son went on a picnic. Does that tell you they are all one. Of course not.

There are a couple or three verses routinely used to prove the concept of the Trinity. 'I and the Father are one," is a favorite. However, if that is proof that Jesus and his Father are the same being... the same person... then I suppose it also means that ALL of Jesus disciples are one big, happy multi-deity since he also said he was one with THEM at John 17:21 - "that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. (New King James Version © 1982 Thomas Nelson)

While you're in Chapter 17: Look at the entire thing. It's a prayer. Then ask yourself, Who was he praying to, to begin with, if he was God himself? Also he talks about Glorifying someone else. He says "I have glorified YOU". Who would that be? Who would be above God?
=====
For Timothy, with all due respect:

1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (It talks of bearing record or witness. In a court case, if you have three names on the witness list for a particular trial, are we thinking all three are one and the same. The oneness referred to here by John is unity of thought.)

1 John 5:8 -Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? << SON of God.

1Jo 5:10 ... God gave of his Son. (Two separate people)

1Jo 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (Again, two separate persons)

All three persons of the Trinity can be seen at the baptism of Jesus, where the Spirit descends upon Jesus in the form of a dove and the Father speaks from heaven saying: "This is My Son, My Beloved One, in whom I am well pleased."
Matthew 3:17

You are a trinity. You are mind, body, and spirit. If you believe in a spirit this will help understand the trinity. God the Father is the mind. God the Son is the Body. God the Holy Spirit is, well the spirit. God the father uses the God the Son to inact the power of God the Holy Spirit. He is still one God three parts. If you don't believe in a spirit well then arguing the trinity is pointless. By the way that is what I believe God meant we he said "let us create man in "our" image."
