There are hundreds of man-made gods, the creations of different cultures from around the world and throughout history. Allah is one of the most recent ones heard of and popularized mostly through the prophet Muhammad. Why would you think that Muslims are so willing to believe that Allah is a true god and that Muhammad wasn't just spinning yarns...?

...and if Allah is merely a made up god, could the same be true of Jesus and the god of Abraham? ... could it be, is it even possible, that they are all made-up creations, mere fantasies out of the minds of men?

... if not, why not? Please explain. (...and try to stay on the topic, won't you?)

It seems if you wear either one of these in the "wrong" place, you'll be bombarded by questions like: "Where can I find the shampoo? "Do you guys sell spray paint"? Or: "What time do you guys close"? I mean, doesn't anyone check for logos and name tags first? I was in a Walmart once, and a lady asked me if I worked there, and I gave her a snide remark. Soon afterwards, her son angrily approached me, wanting to belt me one. I just walked off. I mean what the heck? can't people read anymore? Another time (years ago), I was shopping in an Office Depot, when a guy asked me about something. I told him I didn't work there, and he kept on insisting that I worked there, and that I should help him. Finally, I walked out. What's wrong with people? Even if you tell them nicely, they still bother you.

Seems to me, that those who CAN think for themselves, and see the world as it really is, become ostracised by their christian neighbors.
Trust me, it's FAR better to stand on your own two feet and think for yourself, than to have some ficitional character in a book of bronze-age mythology (or rather the con men that pretend to speak for him) to do it for you.

if we have not and do not need to be saved and redeemed from the sins we are already guilty of.

Was there ever a man named Moses?

If there was never a man named Moses, then How is it we have men called Moses, Joseph, Matthew, Luke, John, Isaac, Jeremiah, and any amount of other names including ADAM , Eve, Esther, Ruth , and Mary's , Maries, Susannah's?

How did this Gospel come to be written over so many eons of time. that we still have this same History today that Gives us all answers to Eternal questions mankind has had?

Just a few questions for anyone to give thought about the answers they may give reason why The Gospel shuld be believed as an INSPIRED word that has been given to mankind. and just maybe should be taken very seriously.. when we are Told to have faith and that there is only one NAME THAT SALVATION CAN be GIVEN to mankind BY and that name is JESUS CHRIST.

Over the years, scientists seem to have proved that dinosaurs once roamed the Earth with countless skeletons and fossils. The bible, it seems, has no place for dinosaurs. All living things were created at once. Certainly, if humans ever lived at the same time as these hulking reptiles, we would have heard about them in history. What do you think? Do you think the bible just didn't include dinosaurs? Perhaps they never exsisted. If so, how did all these bones and such get here?

So i recently sent my resume to a company for a new position. I get a call a few days later from a HR person saying that they are interested in me and would like to schedule an appointment. I tell them that I am free to come in anytime and the person tells me that she would get back to me while she checked with the senior manager's schedules.

A week goes by and I hear nothing. At the end of that week, I decide to give the HR person a call. She tells me that she is still waiting on the managers to schedule that interview and that she "hasn't forgotten about me".

Its almost the middle of the second week and I have not heard anything else since last Friday. Now granted, this is a giant corporation that has thousands of employees and it is summer vacation season...but what do you think is really going on here?

Am I being led around? put on the shelf as backup? Did they change their mind? What should I do?

I frequently travel secondary roads, and I go the speed limit as much as it's safe to on narrow, winding country roads, but people ride my fanny like I was crawling. It makes it difficult to pull over when a spot eventually shows up for me to safely pull over to allow them to pass.

At a nearby farmer's market, a restaurant stand has a little person employed there. He is a mean spirited, evil man who fights with everyone (surprising how he keeps the job). If you call him on something, he starts yelling it's because he's a little person, that your prejudiced, etc. The last incident I had, I informed him that my problem with him was that he was an a**hole, and a**holes come in all shapes, sizes and colors, so to get over himself. The catholics never seem to improve their faith by sticking to outmoded, obsolete beliefs. The first thing they need to do is to do away with the requirement for celibacy of priests. Secondly they need to ordane women as priests. Third, they need to recognize the fact that homosexuals are born, not made.
