It seems if you wear either one of these in the "wrong" place, you'll be bombarded by questions like: "Where can I find the shampoo? "Do you guys sell spray paint"? Or: "What time do you guys close"? I mean, doesn't anyone check for logos and name tags first? I was in a Walmart once, and a lady asked me if I worked there, and I gave her a snide remark. Soon afterwards, her son angrily approached me, wanting to belt me one. I just walked off. I mean what the heck? can't people read anymore? Another time (years ago), I was shopping in an Office Depot, when a guy asked me about something. I told him I didn't work there, and he kept on insisting that I worked there, and that I should help him. Finally, I walked out. What's wrong with people? Even if you tell them nicely, they still bother you.

I know, I hate that. I do know it's because now Walmart has a new uniform policy, navy shirt and khaki pants. Target has the red shirt and khaki pants. My friend, Ryan, has that problem when he gets off work from Porter Paints. Up until the end of this month, they have different colored polo shirts to be worn with khaki pants, it seems when he wears his navy shirt in walmart he gets bothered... same with the red at Target. I tried to get him to change into a t-shirt after work, but he doesn't think to do so.

People do not read the logos that are on the shirts, they just see the main color. It's so dang annoying.

I remember back in community college getting off work at Autozone, and going to Target and getting bothered. I was like, uhm, I've got black pants on. I don't work here.

Even today, after being out of Home Depot for over a year, I get bothered... because the people know me. This happens in the last two Home Depot stores I worked in.

I usually don't mind telling someone where something is, if I know, but I let them know I don't work there.

Think about it. Think about it carefully. Who chose to wear the blue or red shirt and go to those stores? It may be that you are not a victim, but a volunteer.

I just thought it was funny when I was twice asked where something was in Target....because I knew I just told them.

I didn't have a problem with it.

I think it is good marketing. Your posting proves it I guess.
