I am struggling with pronouncing English dates correctly as I am not a native speaker.
I notice there are different ways of saying a date, especially regarding the use of 'THE'. Can you help me?
1) April the fourteenth
2) April fourtheeth
3) fourteenth April
4) the fourteenth April
5) the fourteenth of April
6) fourteenth of April
Which one/ones are correct?

Anyone have any good ideas? If you don't believe in God, that's fine. I don't care to hear your opinion of how you don't think He exists.

But to everyone else, do you realize when you call someone ugly, it's like slapping God in the face?

It's like telling Him you don't appreciate His creation, and the way that person looks isn't up to your standards of how a person should look. Society has created such a image of how a person should look. I think it's sick. What are your opinions on this statement?

I didn't come up with this statement by the way. I got it from a man at my church - Robert Baxter.

it happen in my long vacation in Itali, i stayed at a Hotel. But there is something that make me fell unwelcome. It's when i went to that restaurant hotel to had dinner. That time i just used sandals, because i think it's just a non formal event, but when i going to the restaurant, there is a waitresses there that held me down because he said i'm using sandals, and he told me to change it to shoes. The problem is, he say that thing in front of all people. At that time, because i'm asian, i felt he is trying to make embaress at me infront of the people. What do you think?? it's common or he is just a racis person???

Hey Guys! Thanks for any response. I've read in here for quite a while and I'm very impressed with much of the debate that goes on. I have a question I'd like to ask from your point of view.

I have noticed much of the criticism & critique (if you will) of Christians from the athesit view point is that they don't open their minds up, they are afraid of science & the facts related to science. That Christians by in large aren't open minded enough to look deeper etc.

with me so far.....okay

Question is this: How do you explain Martin Luther King Jr who said in 1964: Jesus Christ was the foundation of the civil rights movement...is guiding light was the written word of God. King said in his acceptance speech of the Noble Prize...that he would accept this award on behave of Jesus Christ.

Was King in your thinking...dillusional or simply mistaken in his faith & belief.

(I hope you don't mind me playing the devil advocate...but from a debate point of view I was just wondering)

Ok lets put you god up to the test,now stay with me cuz this is gonna get confusing.Ok lets start,did God create the universe and all in it?Well if he did,and im not saying he did,but if he did how?If God was never born,then how can he exsist?And if he dose not exsist then how could he create a infinate relm of space?Don't look at this question and give me a stupid answer like "he used the cheese-wiz to do it" give me an honest answer,and don't say "because hes god" either.

I am Catholic my whole life. Lately, I've been learning about Buddhism in which karma is an essential part. If God is about forgiveness then why are my past wrongs coming back at me, very harshly and in the same manner that I've done wrong? I've asked for forgiveness. Is Buddhism more real?

In the bible it says those who repent Jesus will absolve them of their sins, and they will be allowed into the kingdome of heaven. But what about those who do horrible things, that don't repent. Will they still be forgiven? Will they be allowed into heaven?

what does it matter if it is not a technically a question ... what harm is it doing
what does it matter if someone doesn't agree with your beliefs... everyone is entitled to an opinion and you may learn something you didn't know before
what does it matter if it is a statement , a prayer request , a joke .....
to me in my opinion ... all of the above can be spiritual and learned from
and this is religion and SPIRITUALITY after all
not just religion
so if you dont like something , why not just by pass it

i was surprised of how some christians twisting this verse to fit their desire believe. even though the verse is very clear that Jesus isn't God, some christians insist to twist the real meaning of the verse. why, isn't this verse very clear to you?
