Believing that your good or bad actions affect all those around you is basic Christian doctrine. And although sin may be forgiven by God, you will have to live with its affects for the rest of your life.
Other parts of Karma is not in tune with Christianity. The part that how you live in this life will affect future lives. Christians do not believe in reincarnation.
How we get to heaven is also out of step with Karma. Karma would say you have to be very very very good to deserve heaven. Christianity says no one can ever be that good.
Christians believe that it is only through the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that we gain heaven not through any effort on our part. Although we are expected to live in faith, hope, and love.
With love in Christ.

In Christianity, it's not called karma.
It is "you reap what you sow."
As a Catholic, you should know that it is not enough to ask for forgiveness. You must make reparation.
Buddhism teaches the same thing Catholicism does. You can transcend your karma - or the damage you have sown - through prayer and and reparation.
So get out there and right your wrongs! Do good deeds!

Karma is probably real. It could be as simple as a guilty conscience which causes you to enact karma on yourself or maybe other people who think your a jerk and treat you badly. I have seen karma at work. I've never seen god at work though. But from the way the world looks right now god must get allot of vacation time.

If you have been studying Buddhism in earnest, then you know that karma is not the process or law of 'reaping what you sow'. It is simply a description of the arising forces resulting in actions positive, negative and neutral actions. Negative actions beget more negative actions but the effect on the individual taking those actions is cumulative and dependent on many, many factors. Same as with positive.

not catholic, but I can tell you in my experience there are many natural laws that we are affected by because we decided to take a chance on this earth and this life. Karma, in my belief is one of them - you get back what you give out. The bible speaks of this as reaping what you sow. Sometimes it is real quick, and other times it takes years. Pay it off if you can and make ammends - then work on putting out only good into the world.

I too am catholic, and the one thing I've learned is that every bit of suffering god sends us is for our ultimate good, he sends us just enough for our own good, I used to question and get mad, but now I just offer every bit back up to him, and tell him ( I know this is nothing compared to what you went through on the cross for me ) but never the less I offer it for my soul and those that I love Amen one must have faith, ask the holy spirit to guide you and enlighten you God is real, and only he is truth..

They also believe in reincarnation, and you know if you are Catholic, when we die we go to Heaven or Hell. You are going against the grain. Maybe God is bumping your head a little, to bring you back to reality. Maybe he is petitioning you to come back home.
