So you are saying other people don't have large families? Heck there is a white family down the block from us they have 6 kids. The Mexican-American family next door to us has only 1 kid.

So what's your point?

Who cares how many kids a family has. So long as they take care and love their children and do their best to provide for them.

Only air heads like you would believe this to be true. You must be a "True Amrrrcan"... motherhood, apple pie, and all that crap that you folks profess.

You should all crawl out of your holes in the wall more often, and make an effort to learn more information before communicating. It's obvious that you have no appreciation for the reality of Hispanics in the 21st century.

~Don't look now, but your racism, bigotry and ignorance are showing. In my neighborhood when I was growing up the largest families were Irish Catholic and Italian. Thank the Pope and the perverse Church ideologies on sane birth control for that. However, today I note an increase in the size of neocon born again families. Maybe that's a symptom of ideas on contraception and abortion or maybe they're trying to perpetuate themselves and increase numbers to raise their voting status.

As to large Latino families in their home countries, the answer is obvious and the reasons are the same as in African villages or as were extant in the colonies 300 years ago, on the US Plains in the last century or in Appalachia today.

Most of them are catholics and don't believe in birth control

It should also be noted that most hispanic cultures value family more than most other cultures. They are less likely to prevent pregnancy and they are more likely to keep close to their family members.
