Please understand when the sin happens.
People are tempted at all levels to do things that might be fun now, or satisfy some want or need, but are against the rules.
Sex, outside of a covenant marriage, is one such thing. It constitutes sexually immoral behavior, and is sinful. (It does not matter with whom you are sinning, by the way, so both hetrosexuals and homosexuals can be held equally accountable for their behavior.)
There is no sin until the temptation is put into action. Once done, the sin can be forgiven, just like any other sin if the sinner repents.
Repent means to turn away from sin. It means stop doing it.
Willfully continuing to sin is not repenting, so I would question whether there is forgiveness at that point. It is God's decision, though.

I've also had a hard time with this.
I've known some incredible gay people. The claim they've always been this way. Have they? Was it environmental?
The bible says, "All sin and fall short of the glory of God". When I look at my sin am I any better than they? No. But is the difference that I call my behavior sin and they don't but does this make my sin less sin?
What does one say to someone who claims homosexuality yet says they love God?
I've also know some homosexuals who are on the verge of suicide. Would someone tell them to, "Cut out those feelings of homosexuality or they will go to Hell!"?
I'm just sad by the whole thing and I think my views are changing on this sin...All sin, All.

Well if you believe the christian stuff then god would have to forgive them right? Whats the difference between gay men having sex or a man having sex with a woman while wearing a condom? The idea of gay being a sin would stem from it doesn't work towards procreation which in christian ideal is the only reason for sex. And if the argument is that they wont procreate for there entire life where as a condom can come off then what about people who chose not to procreate. Which I believe includes priests does it not?

"And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God" ( 1 Corinthians 6:11 ). The word "were" signifies a change has been made. Effeminate ( homosexuals ), fornicators, adulterer's, drunkards, etc. will not inherit the kingdom of God unless they forsake their sinful lifestyles and start walking in obedience to God's Word. In the book of Corinthians, the Corinth church were deceived into believing that they could break fellowship with God ( sin does that ) and their Salvation was still secure. Not much has changed today from thousands of years ago because people still label themselves as a child of God when spiritual death is the consequence of habitual sinning, even for the Christian ( Romans 8:13 ).

Those that hold to the Bible as the Word of God, contend that God considers the sin of homosexuality a scandalous sin. There are other scandalous sins, like adultery - this does not mean we hate those which practice adultery. However the Bible is clear that those that unrepentantly practice scandalous sins are showing evidence that they are not members of Christ's kingdom.
The truth is that everybody in the world is born a sinner, homosexuals are no different. The Bible tells us that homosexuality like other sins comes from a desire to rebel against God. By yourself these desires can be very difficult to overcome. Like choices to abuse alcohol and drugs, people can feel enslaved by their homosexual desires. Thank God, homosexuality is not an unforgivable sin and today is still the day of salvation.

Romans chapter 1 makes it very clear that engaging in sexual acts with someone else of the same sex is a choice, and it's a choice to SIN. God will forgive sin of any kind, if the sinner repents and turns away from sin, but only then.

First thing is you can not judge a person bt=ut you can judge a action. Second there is not such thing as a burning hell, the word hell means grave. In the grave the dead know nothing they can't do anything. The Bible says regarding homosexually, sex and other sins "yet that is what you once were". When you commit sin you must repent and turn around and stop doing what your doing wrong. But it is your choice to do what you want but God has the right to choose who will be part of his kingdom he would hardly be a just God if he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this and let us skate by. You pray for his kingdom to come in the our father prayer but if you want to sin your praying for you own death. Death means non existence.

God forgives everyone that repents (asks for forgiveness and turns away from their sin.)
Sin is a choice. There is no sin greater than another, sin is sin. All sin is an abomination in the eyes of the living God.
Peace and grace to you!

Depends on whether they repent. Consider for example some of those of the Corinthian church had been homosexuals among other things. But they repented.
Paul writes to them saying, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." 1Cor 6:9-11

God loves us all, no one is less of a sinner then others, a sin is a sin no matter how it's committed but God loves us all so much that yes, he forgives anything so long as you ask for forgiveness and mean it..
