No I find it to be a piece of junk. Bruce Almighty sucked. It wasn't funny it was dumb.Just as Evan Almighty will be. Not because it's sac religious. But because those movies are dull and unfunny. And cheap o's that don't sell well at the box office.

No...but, it was too G-rated and Disneyfied....
Bruce Almighty was much funnier...with dark humor and adult humor...
I was very disappointed that the makers of Evan Almighty tried to appease the G-rated crowd...and in so doing...the movie has not done nearly as well as the first.

Nope. Not at all. I loved Bruce Almighty. I found Evan Almighty to be FAR better.

No. Most of the time I find the way hollywood interprets religion to be annoying, but I don't shun it when they get it wrong, or do a spoof on it. A theater is not a church-you don't have to take what's said and done to heart. Just take the parts you like.

I have not seen it yet but i did find Bruce Almighty sacrilegious. The trailers I've seen of Evan don't seem to be objectionable.

I thought it looked funny. Bruce Almighty was funny too.
Fun to see common christian cliches and doctrines in a comedy.
Reminds me of Oh God! with George Burns.

It was a good movie, you know most Christians would have to truly know that God has a sense of humor. he has too!!
Do you think he see's what goes on and doesn't think that some of this crap is funny?

Heh, I wish they would spend time picketing movie theaters instead of hurling vitreol to young pregnant women at the end of their ropes.

Compared to some of the vile movies out now adays, it has a nice concept! But I never saw it. I heard it wasn't that funny.
