It is my observation that Christians are resistant to the idea of global warming because they feel that nothing can happen that isn't in "God's master plan." They also believe that Christ will return and make a "new heaven and new earth", so they feel no great motivation to tackle the issue of global warming, or any environmental issues, for that matter.

Mind you, I'm not saying that all Christians feel this way, but I have gotten the impression that most do. What are your thoughts(Christian or otherwise) on this matter?

Ticket to Heaven 777

Think you already have a ticket to heaven tucked in your pocket? After all, you’re a good person whose good deeds outweigh your bad, right? Some believe saying a prayer or being baptized is their ticket to heaven. You don’t want to be wrong about eternity, so here’s how to know if you’re good enough for heaven: “There is none who does good, no, not one” (Rom. 3:12). God’s standard of goodness is perfection - in thought, word, and deed - so none of us can make it on our own. Even one sin will keep us from heaven. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us” (Titus 3:5). In His mercy, God made a way for us to be forgiven. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross to pay the penalty for your sins, then He rose from the dead. You must repent (turn from your sins) and trust in Him alone to save you. Only Jesus is the ticket to heaven. It’s your choice. Ticket to heaven? Or, ticket to hell?

Ticket to Hell 666

Only really evil people like murderers get a ticket to hell, right? Here’s how a holy God defines evil: “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer” (1 John 3:15). Ever hated anyone? Ever told a lie? “All liars will have their part in the lake of fire.” (Rev. 21:8). Ever looked at someone with lust? Jesus said looking with lust is committing adultery in your heart (Matt. 5:28). Ever stolen anything? No adulterer or thief will inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor. 6:9,10). Ever used God’s name in vain? That’s called blasphemy. God will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain (Exodus 20:7). Because God is holy, He must punish all who sin, and His place of punishment is hell for all eternity. If you’ve done even one of these things, you currently are holding a ticket to hell. But God, in His mercy, has made a way for you to be forgiven. He offers you a ticket to heaven. It’s your choice. Ticket to heaven? Or, ticket to hell?

on my opinion GOD created satan or evils for a purpose, GOD knows He is more powerful than satan, he created satan as a low of power to unconquer his mind. God test us how we could handle temptations and sins through satan . . . but when we fall under satan's will then it is our choice to be falled out!!! and i think there is many many reason to not be fallen out on satan's will . . . so GOD is very wise to create evils for a purpose and GOD can vanish them percently zero when he wants.

Many read Isaiah 8:19, "shouldn't we go from the living to the dead", and say NO. But they need to read verse 20 too. "If they do not speak according to this Word, there is no Light in them!"
Which is just like the New Testament 1 John 4:1-3. "Believe NOT every spirit. But try the spirits to see if they are of God. If they say Christ came in the flesh, the are of God. But if they say Christ did not come in the flesh, they are antichrist!"

Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly and freedom to do just about anything you want to do... but are you really free?

The Bible says that we are slaves... slaves to sin. (Romans 6:15-22) What is sin? Sin is violating God’s law… the Ten Commandments. (Galatians 3:19) Need proof you are a slave to sin? The ninth commandment says, "You shall not bear false witness." In other words, "You shall not lie." How many times have you told lies in your life? How about stealing? Have you ever taken God’s name in vain? Have you ever looked with lust (sexual desire) at anyone you were not married to? The Bible says "Whosoever looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery already with her in his heart" How many times have you been guilty of looking with lust? If you are guilty of these then you are a slave to sin. God tells us that all liars, drunks, the sexually immoral, thieves, etc. will end up in the lake of fire... eternal hell. (Revelation 21:8, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). The Bible makes it clear that we have to be pure to go to heaven. The problem is that “…all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Rom 3:23) A few verses before that we also find these condemning words: “There is none righteous, no, not one… There is none who seeks after God… There is none who does good, no, not one.“ In fact, the Bible says, “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.’ (Galatians 3:10)” God will justly judge you when you die and none who are unholy will enter heaven. (Heb 9:27) We have to be holy to go to heaven.

There is hope! God lowered himself and became a man, Jesus Christ. He did what no other man could; He lived a perfect life. He never sinned. Then He shed His blood and died on the cross, paying the penalty for sin. After three days he rose from the dead, defeating death. His blood will make us holy! So do as the Bible says, repent and have faith in Jesus Christ. Stop living a lifestyle of sin… turn from your sin and start living for God. Deny yourself and take up your cross daily and follow Him. (Luke 9:23). Humble yourself. Realize you are created to glorify God. True freedom is only found in Jesus Christ.

does he require us to believe in him, repent our sins in order to be saved from the hell he created? Why wouldn't an all loving benevolent god simply convey salvation to all? Couldn't an all powerful god accomplish that?

We have been overdosed with the negative. Being told everything spiritual is evil. And fear can actually cause us to end up in a negative reality.
So many spirits concentrate on being positive. Telling us everything will be okay, to ease our fears. But don't take that to extremes. Concentrating on the positive doesn't mean that negative realities don't exist.
