Do you think they are similar? Thats interesting. Well the reason is simple. Its because all religious scriptures are from God. The basic concepts of right and wrong, oneness of God etc are the same. The only difference is that each scripture came according to that age's requirements except for Quran which is the last book and is till the end of time. That also explains the way Quran addresses the niversal audience as opposed to Torah and Bible which address certain people and certain times.

Because Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all Abrahamic religions and worship the same God. The Bible was inevitably corrupted and adulterated as it was changed over the years. The Qu'ran, however, has NEVER been changed, and is preserved perfectly to this day. Christianity came about because Judaism invoked the wrath of God, and it had to amend the previous flaws. Islam came about because Christianity was corrupted and adulterated Islam is the last of the Abrahamic religions and is the final religion. Islam also acknowledges Abraham, Moses, and Jesus as major prophets. Jesus was a major prophet and one of God's mightiest messengers. The Qu'ran is the absolute Word of God, unchanged and unscathed to this day, holding the true teachings that Allah had originally meant to display. In other words, if Christianity was never corrupted and adulterated, all the Muslims today would be Christians. The Qu'ran is not allowed to be corrupted, and has not been. Islam has always been around, just holding different names (ie Judaism, Christianity), and Islam is the first and last religion.
midrash40:
Where did you find that BS?? The Qu'ran was sent down through the words of the Angel Gabriel, and it was not "inspired" by other human beings!

There is a definitive link. Torah was first and gave the basis for the 'Old Testament'. The new testament was a continuation based on input relevant to Jesus. The Qur'an was a continuation based on Mohamed's input. Times changed. New prophets came. Words were written relevant to the age.

1.It was plagiarized?
2. God doesn't "require" dialog from humanity, but does allows it in the form of prayer.

mohamad was 40 years old at the time when he had the quran written for him, (as he was illiterate), he took ideas from both the torah, and the bible, (and a few others) and had this put into his book, it is a copy of ideas (and muslims you dont need to read to copy ideas) He had learned these ideas from the many christians and jews he had met during his many travels in the caravans
The torah is STILL original and is NOT changed, and the language it was written in, is HEBREW, and millions of people speak it.
the Quran is not a divinically inspired document.

Muslims still read Quran in arabic language while all other languages of those books are dead( that is a proof enough for me that Quan in not corrupted but Bible and Torah are corrupted because they lost their languages).
