I don't think you are fully aware of the Protestant beliefs. Most protestants who studied the Bible and theology know all these things. What protestants believe/do now is based primarily on the Bible.
Catholic church over the years has relied on politics and tradition mostly. Protestants such as various fundamentalists, base their beliefs strictly on the Bible now. The Bible is not written by the Catholic church.

Hmmm, I wonder why most Christian beliefs come from Catholicism. Could it be that the Catholic Church was the first Christian Church???? And if you ever read the Bible you would find that the beliefs you claim to be warped are in fact very easily found in the Bible. And yes the Bible is where the Catholic church goes to learn about God and how to live...as do most Christians. If you have an issue with biblical based beliefs than do not be a Christian.
There have no doubt been evil people in the Catholic church as there have been in any other religion, but you should not judge the whole based on those few.

it somewhat is robust that this question has been posed to you. confident there's a distinction. Jesus on no account taught to wish to different "saints". Jesus on no account taught which you pray to his mom. The catholics will say that they are "asking" for the saint or whoever to intercede for them while Jesus for sure stated that he's the way. it somewhat is the foremost distinction that I even have observed. Catholics weren't the 1st Christians, the Christians who have been with Him have been the 1st ones. The catholics did not come alongside till the Romans found out it would be accessible to regulate the Christians and prepare their variety of "worship".

I'm fully aware of where a lot of the rules came from. My belief in God is very simple. I was given a conscience and I behave in a way that I hope pleases God. Why do you want to challange anyone's belief system? Does it make you feel better to denegrate someone else? How does that make you feel?

I agree thats why I have nothing to do with catholics. They don't go by what the bible actually says. They have changed things when they "tried"
to convert pagans into Christians so they let the pagans bring some of their beliefs with them so they would feel like they would not have to change anything

Why o why do you care that Christians led by Martin Luther during the reformation realized the misinformation that was fed to them and returned to the Bible and Worship on the Sabbath, and got rid of all the false stuff.......

Isn't it that way for just about every religion?
Since man dictates it and not God?

George, I see you arent saved from judging. Intolerance, intolerance, intolerance. No religion is perfect because it is man-made.
