You make the descision to suffer. if you are truly attached to this world enough to fear it and fear him then you will suffer. For without fear you can not or...at least have a choice to not suffer.

You have the choice to trancend your base instruction on what pain or pleasure is to become aware of the great tie and the great force within yourself.

The idea that there is a god that is putting us through hell is a little too much like saturday morning cartoons to keep children in line.. so why do adults beleave it?

Honestly ask yourself within this world is there any exsamples of a common man who can defy what would be painful or suffering? There are many. So wouldent it make more sence that if there was an omnipotent god that we are ignoring or possibly so hopelessly ignorant of what it is that we cannot hear him?

Heb.13:8, 1:5-9 for Jesus being God] came to set us free and allow us to live IF we live up to the conditions are met, find out more www.amazingfacts.org God bless.

There is no need to suffer. The world believes in suffering, therefore, there is suffering; the world believes that "evil" is strength, and "good" is weakness, therefore, there is suffering.

There seem to be many on this site with you, who understand. You all can change the thinking of the world, by using your understanding to learn what "God" is, as opposed to the ugly, sad monstrosity that the world has long been led to believe...and it is belief that forms/moves/heals the world. God is only love, (not "love" that is based upon whether one deserves that love, or making a "choice" that is obviously no choice) only peace; not angry, violent, insane. Use your innate understanding to change your view of the world as a separate "thing", and you will help the world to awaken.

Ah, another reiteration of the "problem of evil". God gave man free will, without which man could not truly love God. However, man can misuse that free will, including twisting something that might be good, such as religion, into something that is evil. Until the unbeliever can show that a universe with love (even though it entails the possibility of evil) cannot be better than a universe without love (even though it entails no possibility of evil), then the "problem of evil" argument will always falter. It is not God who caused the human suffering and so forth, but man's misuse of free will.

People everywhere suffer.Suffering is simply what happens on this earth. Please be aware that there is NO god or gods!! Belief in the invented fantasy of god is the reason for the world wide madness of the nations of the world. Your question is rather puerile. Humans create there own societies, which are mostly useful to their rulers, and then ask gods that do not exist to save them.

The Garden of Eden offers a life that is comfortable and risk free. Yet Eve rejects the stultifying monotony of her perfect, paradisiacal life. As she gazes at the forbidden tree of knowledge, she seems to ask, "What good is life without wisdom that arises from experience?" Passing by the tree of life, she might muse, "of what use is immortality without knowledge or growth?" Eve wrestles with humanity's first moral dilemma and takes the first moral action recorded in the Bible when she crosses the limit set by the all-knowing God.

Eve and Adam leave their father's protective abode, as children must. God knows it is time for them to face life as adults in an imperfect world. The heartbroken parent appoints a guard at the garden's gate to prevent Eve and Adam from regressing to a childhood devoid of adult responsibilities but also to prevent himself from softening and allowing them to return.

The reader sees Eve and Adam leaving the Garden of Eden full of optimism. They are not at all the tearful, dejected couple portrayed in Renaissance art, expelled by a furious father. The first thing they do is make love and create new life. What a better is there to teach us about pleasure and responsibility, behavior and consequences, than through the knowledge that the fleeting gratification of lovemaking produces a child with whom parents share a lifelong bond?
