In other words, if they were all true in their own dimension, which would be the one you would like to be true?

Jesus is worthy to be praised, adored and magnified, especially over every false "god" and the doctrine of humanism.

On every single thing containing the "blood of Jesus" (who knows if it is the blood of Jesus) the type was AB. So one should now know why AB is blessed as the universal recipient.

John 3:16 states

"For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"

now question 1: Does this passage mean that if a person believes Jesus existed that they will go to heaven?

question 2: Does this passage mean that if a person believes and honors his teachings will go to heaven?

question 3: Wouldn't this passage cause the rest of the bible to be void if all one has to do is believe he existed?

question 4: When Jesus says "believeth in him" does he mean God, himself, or both? because one might take it to mean either one.

A thousand years past, when life was dark, short, and brutal, as we inched kicking and screaming into the first hints of enlightenment, Christianity was hot to trot for slaughter, burning people alive, drowning 'witches,' persecuting and murdering Jews, enslaving, 'lords' and 'kings' and all that BS, and keeping women pregnant, illiterate, and at the hearth. What's ahead as we journey toward the end of the present one thousand? Do you think we puling primates, with a moveable thumb and a brain that is still wanting serious attention, will continue to babble on about the god of a murdering tribe of Bronze Age desert nomads?

I saw several Paris Hilton questions over the course of the day with numerous folks berating her for claiming to have become a Christian and for her reading the Bible while she was in jail.

Come on people step up to the plate and let’s hear how you think she’s a fraud.

OK, here's what happened. I disassociated myself about 7 years ago and it is pretty much common knowledge to all I know. We were supposed to go to a huge BBQ tomorrow at a friends house, some JW, some not. My brother/sister-in-law were not invited because they have done bad things to other family members. They got mad and started calling everyone telling them not to come because I will be there. From there, the entire BBQ got cancelled because of me. It ticks me off because my brother-in-law cheated on his wife and everyone knows it but swept it under the rug. His mother-in-law smokes and no one says anything. Has anyone else seen this kind of hyposcrisy as well? I don't even bring up religion and have never wronged any of these people, but because I decided to leave a church, it is still dictating what I can do and where I can go. Just wondering if anyone else had any similar experiences. Thanks!

O.k if your not religious and don't believe in any gods what do you think will happen once your dead do you think that's it your dead and there is no type of heaven or hell no reward or punishment do you think it would be fair that Adolph Hitler or anyone that done really bad things not to be punished, on the same hand would it be fair for someone like Mother Theresa or someone of the sort who done a lot of good not to be rewarded ?

O.k now for the religious people, if you believe in God why do some of you use fear to get people to believe in him ? And why do some of you judge everyone ?

If you worship other gods(pagan) do you think there is a god like in the Bible and just don't worship him, or do you think the Christian God is silly and there's no proof of him? If so is there proof or the gods you worship?

I don't believe in God since my grandfather died in my early childhood. Before that, I was a religious person, but as I grew up I realised that I've never felt the presence of God in my life, even if I really tried to become closer to Him... I think there is a logical, scientific explanation for the creation and for many other miraculous events from the Bible...So I would like you to show me how do you feel that God is protecting you. Maybe I'll discover the fact that He is also present in my life, but I was too sceptical about His existence..............

In a previous response to a question I asked, a Jehovah's Witness said that CT Russell did not fit the description of a false prophet in Matt 24:23-25 in spite of the fact that he proclaimed "The Christ is here" (in the earth) at a time that Jehovah's Witnesses NOW believe that he wasn't here at all. (The year 1874.)
This answerer went on to say that not even Mr Russell's most vitriolic enemies ever pretended he performed great signs and wonders.

It's rather obvious that one's followers, NOT his enemies, are the ones who perceive "great signs and wonders" on the part of a false prophet.

So if you think Russell was a false prophet, what perceived 'great sign or wonder' did Russell perform which has caused people to look to him as a man "used" by God in spite of the fact he announced 'Christ is here' when Christ wasn't here?
