I don't believe in God since my grandfather died in my early childhood. Before that, I was a religious person, but as I grew up I realised that I've never felt the presence of God in my life, even if I really tried to become closer to Him... I think there is a logical, scientific explanation for the creation and for many other miraculous events from the Bible...So I would like you to show me how do you feel that God is protecting you. Maybe I'll discover the fact that He is also present in my life, but I was too sceptical about His existence..............

I feel the presence of God in my life every day that I teach. I see Him in the eyes of my little students. I see Him when I watch the way that they treat one another and the way that they treat me. Children are loving and forgiving. They can be mad one minute and get over it in the next. They don't hold grudges. They are open and honest and happy. Children want to learn and get so excited when they "get" something.

I think God watches over me, and I think He uses these children to teach ME how to live and how to treat others.

I know He has protected me, for I drive 40 miles to school, one way, every day, and in 27 years, I have never had a wreck, never hit a deer, never been hurt, etc.

Look at children. Watch them.
Good luck to you.

Yes. There was a point where I didn't really believe in God and I
would have dreams where I would be dying or something and I wanted to be forgiven for my sins and wanted God in my life, and so I went to church and one night while I was there I got saved and I was a lot happier after that I know I'm still a sinner but no one is perfect I feel like God made me have those dreams so I would decide to get saved and go to church without being bitter about it. And there's plenty of other little things that happen to make me feel the presence of God. I'm sure your grandpa's in a much better place

You cannot understand even though you tried by your own reason. Sorry to say that. Even though you are intelligent and comes from a rounded family you will have this same feeling. You are not alone as you can see in this site. You have got to have faith and it is not easy as you think. In your own strength now and knowledge and science being able to solved most of the worldly problem plus financial stability your chance of discovering God or feeling his presence is slim. Have you been missing something you may ask. In the world it is No. In spiritual, Yes. You will not rush in as for now but there will be a time when you will ponder. To start knowing God is not your choice but His. It is then a new journey on earth. All the things which you question before falls into places. Separation begins. You recognize a new group of people. Peace found it's meaning, not as the meaning you thought. United to be as who you are suppose to be. I wish I could reveal you more but then you or others mightl use the tiny flag to flag me down. It is then not your fault but of my poor discerning. If you cannot accept what I say it is ok. But please do not ridicule my answer for it is not fair to compare my answer to your reason or belief. Just listen to it for amuesment . It is then a reward itself for my effort of answering your question.

There are many things. He speaks to me . I was coming home the other day and had opened the garage and put my car in. I went in the house and He told me to close the garage door. I did, and just then the electricity went off for a couple of hours. Gos knows I like to keep the car in when it storms. This way I didn't have to do the door manually.

Sounds like your fishing to me, But okay here goes. He is with me daily I know this because of all the times I have called on Him and He has given me strength to carry on. Both my parents have passed on and I know they are with Him. sometimes we don't hear Him because we shut Him out. only when He knows that we are truly repentant and are truly seeking Him then He will be there. If you have ever asked Jesus into your heart then he is there waiting for you to except Him. He has been there held me up when each parent died he has been there when I needed comfort with losing my first Grandchild. also everyday things like He provides what I need if He will take care of the sparrow how much more important than that are we?

The experiences I have had with God ,the Holy Spirit and the love he placed in me his truth and he talks to me not all the time but at certain times he does.He wants to have a personal relationship with you and you have to seek it out for yourself this is not a religious thing that is a misconception of God religion and denominations are.

sure-I even have had in my previous circumstances the place I could have been killed yet a technique or the different controlled to sidestep them. occasion @ approximately 14yrs previous I positioned a shotgun shell interior the floor and then struck the primer with a nail and hammer. no longer something handed off for 3 strikes and then i found out it could have blown my head off. I later found out the shotgun shell worked in a gun. stupid sure! fortunate--nicely according to probability yet i think of that replaced into only one element in my existence that i could no longer have an evidence for.

I feel that God is with me, looking out for my family all the time, I just have to take the time to notice. I have dozens of examples, but here is one of my favorites:

I have 3 boys. When they were born, I prayed and asked God to look out for them throughout their lives. I have gotten used to bumps, bruises, scrapes and gashes...but somehow we have managed to avoid serious, life-threatening injury. Every now and then, for no reason in particular, I get a nagging feeling that I need to check on the boys. I have learned to listen to that little voice because EVERY time I hear it, there is a reason. One time I looked out at my kids in the yard just in time to see my 3 year old climbing to the top of his playground (about 20 ft high). Another time I looked in on my son to find him filling his mouth with quarters. Another time my husband woke up from a nap and peeked out the window just in time to see my oldest child kicking a fire ant hill. Once, I walked into their room to discover them trying to open their 3-story high window. There are many, many more, but I won't go on. Each of these times, if we had ignored that little voice for 5 minutes, something horrible would have happened to one of our children.

A lot of people might dismiss that as "mother's instinct," but I don't. I believe that God gives us those little nudges. I believe He is there, directing us, guiding us, and helping us along the way. I believe that "little voice" that we hear on occasion, is nothing more than God sharing with us a little piece of his wisdom.

Good luck in your search for the truth.

When things get real real bad, and you think there's no way out... it takes time, but when you've lost hope totally, you find the way out, and start loving your life all over again, and realize that God's there...
