I know from first hand experience how wicked a thing depression can be. Clinical depression can alter your personality and play some very bad tricks on you mind. As "rational" people we can not understand how someone could kill thier own child. Chris however, could not have been rational. I cannot imagine the thoughts that were going on inside his head his last few days on this earth. What he did was unexceptable to us "normal" folks. I speak from experience. 5 years ago, my husband became so depressed that out of fear for the lives of my children and myself, I took our kids and left. 1 month later he hanged himself. The lead detective told me that he had no doubt, if we wouldn't have left, we would ALL be dead. I never felt angry at him because
he was living in a self-imposed hell and to say that he was miserable would be very much an under statement. We can only judge people while they are on this earth, let God judge Chris now. He understands a lot more than we do. RIP Benoits

... everyone treated everyone else in the same manner as they treat those they want to have sex with?

Just think about it... The saying goes, "Treat others in the same manner, as you would have them treat you." Correct?

I mean... don't we all just want to FEEL appreciated?

Divine Flirtation?

Love & Peace!

Boy do I feel energy in this question already... and I haven't even hit submit yet. You must all be feeling the same thing too. Interesting. Feels pretty good huh? ;-)

Throughout human history, thousands of different gods and goddesses have been worshipped. What are the odds that they were all fake except for the one that your parents taught you to believe in?

If each person was born with the free will to accept or not accept your beleive or the truth or whatever you want to call it, then why when an atheist tells you that they do not beleive, you insist on trying to change his mind?...All he is doing is exersizing the same free will that you promote!..what are your thoughts?

Is hanging oneself a final act of guilt?
Think about it. Judas hung himself (supposedly) after betraying Jesus. Chris Benoit hangs himself after killing his family. There are probably more instances of people hanging themselves after realizing they can't live with the guilt of something. Maybe i'm just reading too much into it, but to me, hanging oneself does seem like a final act of guilt. It definitely leaves a longer lasting impression than a gun blast to the head or slitting the wrists.

Is hanging more a final statement than any other form of suicide? Is it more than just the convenience of not having a gun or any other instrument to kill oneself with? I would think it would be the most unpleasant way to die.

When I logged on and came to this section, that is the first thing I noticed. Perhaps Yahoo was surprised at the number of seniors who surf the net. Do you think it is a welcome move? Or should Seniors include HS seniors as well?

The short answer to the question “why did God create us?” is “for His pleasure.” Revelation 4:11 says, “Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.” Colossians 1:16 reiterates the point: “All things were created by Him and for Him.”

The Bible teaches us we are in between times where God wipes out most of humanity (Noah's Ark, Revelations). I'd hate to see it if God was pissed.

...how long it would take to identify each other by discussing issues similar to those discussed on this forum?
#1 no name tags...or avatar masks.....Duh.
#2 you may not identify yourself,by spiritual beliefs or reveal where you reside, state your name etc....you get the idea.

I think that it would be interesting...Of course, some do use their actual photo as an avatar...we would work around this.

Why do we keep hating each other? Is it becoz we have different beliefs? or we should force others to believe us? I believe everyone has their own senses to noe what is right or wrong. So if everybody thinks that they are right wat happens? WAR?? HATRED?? so wheres the love for god? for the humans HE create? I think everyone should mind their own business and concentrate on being a good person.I am a muslim but i dont really think that war is the answer. Why dont we all concentrate on our GOD to love HIM, SUBMIT to HIM, and to GLORIFY HIM than to kill each other. If u are a hindu, be a good hindu, if u are a christian, be a good christian and if u are a muslim be a good muslim. once said by a catholic. and remember muslims prophet muhammad once said, dont do wat i do, do wat i tell u to do.PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY
