I used to dwell on the past but now I live for the present and future only. Life is just to precious and short.

Actually I live in the future! I'm always thinking about what might be. I occasionally visit the past for a while but I'm rarely in the present. Too much c#@p to deal with-- family, health, spiritual issues, friends etc.....

In the present daily as the world's catastrophic current events fill my senses with concern. In the past when I have to escape these events when everything gets too heavy....In this state, blissful ignorance can serve as a momentary refuge from the world's figurative shrapnel. It's fun to live in the past from time to time, but during these troubling times, with the White House completely sold out to the highest business interests at the expense of the middle class and environment and an international embarassment with regards to world affairs (i.e. Bush/Cheney lies with regards to the unprovoked invasion of Iraq), we must be present in the present to create and maintain vivid memories of this huge messy world and utilize our voting and free speech rights when the opportunities arise to be counted and heard.

I would love to live in the past as I've spent my time very well. But my work reminds me even the presents is important.

I always live in the present. If I knew how to live in the past I would do it though. Or maybe the future.

Presently, I'm living in the present, with occasional jaunts to the past and flights of fancy to the future.

i used to think ahead in the past, which means i was in the present in my past...but these days, i can't seem to get myself out of the past while being present in the future, which basically means either i'm ahead of my time or i gotta go back to the future from my past.
