Actually I thought it was for senior citizens. Then all the high schoolers or college grads were on it so I thought I made a mistake.
Then we decided to share it.
While I like having a niche here because it represents all senior citizens from 50 + on, we can all learn from each other regardless of age.

I was enjoying trying to steer high school students into thinking before they acted. And as usual, Yahoo has changed that.
Since the OTHER seniors obviously felt like they needed a sub-category of their very own, I wonder where Yahoo will put THEM? Maybe somewhere in Education?
I didn't even notice the actual change, until I read your question, because when I click on the route to get here, I really don't LOOK at what I am doing anymore....now if they had decided to move the categories AROUND in the list, then I would have been forcing the old eyes to focus, wondering what the f**k was going on!

"Senior Citizen" class does not begin until 55 according to AARP and many retirement communities here in Central Florida. Physiologically it doesn't begin until post-menopause... That is when you will "feel" like a senior citizen. Just from experience and asking the right people... Of course they could be wrong, as I hear that the 50's are the new 40's... that would make it 65 instead. You pick what ever suits you...

Senior citizens are probably on the Internet more than the young people. After all we are home more & do more shopping over the net.
Young people have enough categories on here. I personally don't get too interested in "singles & dating" or "friends" or "pregnancy". That was all many years ago for me.
I found this by mistake just going from category to category.

High school seniors are welcome here too. Even though the problems may be a little different, I bet there are plenty of senior citizens wanting to help with some advize or a good word.

yes, very interesting change. although I enjoyed some of the comments from the high school and college seniors. however, we can visit them on other sites here, so this is not a really big problem.

Hi Traveller, I only just spotted your question. I've put a similar one in since, I wasn't copying you honest! Still great minds think alike don't they? Yahoo wouldn't accept mine in Seniors Citz though, I think I'm in cultures and groups. x

I think they should stick to 'Seniors', and it's fun to see these HS drop by with their questions and input. Now we really don't get no attention from younger people no more - that's not very good, is it now?

I figured it was for senior citizens to begin with, it was the high school kids that kept getting on here and asking silly questions such as rediculous senior class pranks, about their class pictures, about prom dates and then them getting steamed all because they couldn't be bothered to check and make sure about it before they asked they silly questions to begin with.
