"There is none so blind as he who *will* not see!" The Bible *clearly* teaches that witchcraft is evil; but there still those who reject God and allow Satan to blind them to the Truth of God!

While I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it is NOT a fact that witchcraft IS evil. Witchcraft can be used for evil purposes, but so can Christianity (a preist molesting a child, for instance). An OPINION is not a FACT. A FACT is something that can be proven, and I don't see how you can prove this convincingly, besides using the Bible, which really has no bearing in this, except to add to the Xenophobia that surrounds any religion that is not based in Christianity. The only way you positively say FOR A FACT that witchcraft is evil is if it were studied in a laboratory and all results of every spell that was performed was proven to be evil in someway. Also, I think people should realize that witches worship the Earth as God (or Goddess), which is just putting another "face" on the same diety. I can't understand why religious zealots get so upset about these things... It's all the same, just under different guises and different ways of worshipping. Get over it, there are worse things in life to worry about.

Belief is in the heart of the believer, just as deceit is in the words of the deceiver.
Those who profess to be able to use the elements ,nature and the intonation of a spell or chant only succeed to delude themselves and naive innocents. Who for some reason become drawn to their so called powers.
The reason is nothing to do with their evil powers.
These people are usually natural salesmen wasting their talents.
Have you ever actually seen anyone preform an act of evil. With a conclusion by impartial evidence, that the result and success was due entirely to back magic or the casting and intonation of a so called spell ?
There are more serious concerns to worry about in this time of earth crisis.

It all depends on what level your at, because those on the "lower levels" do know what goes on in the "higher levels". You go through a new "initiation" every step that you go up in your journey. I've never heard of a good form of witchcraft. Why would you even want to play around with spirits that means you no good, unless evil is good to you. Evil will give you things that make you stand out from others if you wish, but you must move up to be exposed to more power of a demonic nature. This country has been lulled to sleep and don't even know what certain symbols of witchcraft are. We have demonic symbols on our clothing, food, cars, signs and i've even seen symbols on Christian churches, but if you don't know what your looking at you'll never know it's true meaning. If you choose to play around with witchcraft make sure your ready to envite these demons into your life and they'll show you things that you may not be ready to see.

Well there's evil in a lot of things, isn't there?
Everyone has the capacity for evil, but that doesn't make us all evil, does it?
Witchcraft, in whatever sense of the word you're using it in, is just the same, is it not?
I don't know much about witchcraft or wiccans, but as long as the intentions are good and positive, I don't really see any evil in it at all.

so a religion that embraces nature, has a rule that basicly says "if its going to hurt anyone or anything, dont do it", doesnt even beleive in a "satan" type figure, encourages love and peace, doesnt bash other religions, and shuns spellwork that is used for personal gain is evil? educate yourself. ive read up on pretty much every religion i can find. i still chose a path that involves witchcraft because it encourages many basic human values. dont hurt others. dont reject others views. embrace nature. idk...maybe there is a new definition of what evil is, but to me witchcraft is pretty cool. educate yourself. do a minute of real research and you will find that a lot of what you think about witchcraft is nothing more than sterotypes.

There are a lot of things in this world that could be considered evil. Witchcraft is not one of them. I consider abusing animals and children evil, witchcraft does neither of these. I consider mutilating all the natural things in this world evil, witchcraft doesn't do that. I don't understand what you see as evil. More killing and mutilation has been done in the name of christianity than any "pagan" practice in this world.

So you're implying that only Christianity is right, and that every other religion in the world is wrong?

The problem with that logic is many of these "other" religions predate Christianity, include many pagan religions, which modern day witchcraft is based of. So if we were following your logic, ours came first. Yours is wrong.

Luckily, we don't follow your logic. There are many religions in this world; none are evil unless they promote evil practices. There is nothing evil in Paganism/Wicca/Witchcraft, unless you are saying that they are evil, because they do not worship your God. If so, your God must be pretty mean to consider a devout Buddhist who has spent his entire life doing good evil.

Magick is neither Good, nor Evil, but is all a matter of symbolism and intent. Good, Evil, these are all something that comes from the person who is creating the magick...

Some who use are Evil, some who use are not, just as there are those who have a fair appearance, and claim to follow God, but really are full of lies and Evil...

Which are you?

Sorry, but you're wrong. There is nothing evil in witchcraft. I've been a witch for nearly 25 years and I haven't eaten any babies yet. Your "facts" are either ignorance which can be forgiven, or deliberate spreading of misinformation which, in my opinion, cannot.

Educate yourself.

you are naive and uneducated. The law of pagans is simple, Do as you will, cause no harm! so how is that evil? Read about a subject from those that are involved with it and not propaganda from those that spread hatred though the misinterpreted Christ. As I recall, his message was of love and understanding not hate and judgment
