There could be interior the gadget, admin menu an merchandise to characteristic new customers. you could upload all the customers you want once you're installation it. this could require your person password because of the fact it acts because of the fact the password for the muse get right of entry to. i'm no longer attentive to what the shrink could be different then being based on how great your Linux working gadget is. extra disk area, extra customers. everybody has then use of the backside gadget, yet each and each customers could have different utility put in if the have the password to apply the muse get right of entry to. This probable is a few thing you want to go away in basic terms to you. One person can no longer get right of entry to the different account on the gadget, however the subject turns into whilst they actually boot a Linux LiveCD on the laptop at boot time that has root get right of entry to. That leaves you with the situation of encrypting the tensepersistent with a bypass word. that's to no longer say it ought to no longer be over contain somebody who's definitely a hacker. This different strategies is in simple terms extra for attention once you enable different to get right of entry to your working gadget. better of positive fortune.

Hi Whillow! Thats great news about your little one! Untill recently i thought it was against the yahoo rules to have more than one account but then i found out that it is alright to have more than one on the same computer as long as the two are not linked in any way...eg voting and answering to each others posts....
Personally i think the idea of this is so far open to abuse its not funny but this is Yahoo!
I wont allow myself to have more than one because i am me and i have nothing to hide from anyone!
But if your son wants to get involved then i dont see anything wrong with that!
So you need to get him an email address and go to sign out of your account, then return to answers and then go to sign up again! .....You can keep an eye on him by making sure you have his password and security questions so that you can check up on him when ever you want to! I do this with my daughters My space....so i can see who she is chatting to etc, its something we as parents just have to do to keep our kids safe from weirdos !
If you find he is not acting responsibly just nip in and change his password!
Hope this helps!
Blessed Be!
Ariel

On the multiple user accounts, it looks like you got a lot of good info. I just love reading Ariel's answers, she always sounds so cheerful, it just makes me smile. Hi Ariel!

you let him set up an account, but you make sure he knows that you WILL have the user name and Password, then check it every day. Works for my kid, her access to the computer is dependant on me knowing what she is doing while she is on.

Open up the account on his name but say to him that he cannot change the password. Do not let him know the security answer for him to change the password.

After you set up an account for him, add him to your account as a "contact". That will create a quick link whereby you can monitor his activity. (Unless he subsequently "blocks" you, and then you won't be able to.) But if that happens you can always ground him. :)
