You'll be punished for your sentence structure, etc.

Luke 12:48 But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given.

Matthew 23:15 Yes, how terrible it will be for you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn him into twice the son of hell as you yourselves are.

God Bless You

We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God, therefore when you sin, there is no degree to your punishment a sin is sin priest or no priest.
Here what I found : "sinner's Prayer - What the Bible Says About Sin. Sin, according to the Bible, is any action that violates the law given by God in the Ten Commandments. The law was given by God to show us what it means to live a life deserving of God's love. It was also given to show us that none of us can live that kind of life. God knew that in advance, and that is why He sent His Son Jesus to be that perfect life for us. Jesus, God in human flesh, voluntarily laid aside His God-hood to connect with us, to show us He understands us and to give us a way to be reconciled to the Father, since none of us can keep the law to its letter. "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)".
Sin may be something we can't be free of, but the good news is we can be free of its penalty. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23)"

No if you know that its a sin and you do it you get punished however if someone didn't know that it's a sin he doesn't get punished because it's only fair. It really depends on your religion, however this is the idea of Islam.

Well actually Jesus mentioned this several times. He was constantly condemning the Jewish priests for preaching God but not following him. Matthew 23 in particular is harsh. Those who know the law (i.e. morality, sin, etc) cannot claim ignorance. Ignorance is no real excuse. You cannot say, "I did not know the law said you cannot murder" and get away with it.... but those who know the law, and intentionally break it, are in danger.

God punishes people how they deserve it. you have the right to be ignorant or educated. you have the right to a fair trial. you get no leeway with sin: priest or not.

but "to whom more is given, more is required". a priest gets it bad.... ('reward' on earth, reward in afterlife if didn't repent)

Yes. However, if you go out of your way not to learn something in hopes of claiming you don't know any better, you are still held accountable anyway as if you do know.

God couldn't make it any clearer than this: "Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man,..." Romans 2:1
