Not trying to be racist, but many white people I've encountered in public always give me that fake smirk like they think they're being friendly, but want you out of your way. Have you ever dealt with that and hated it?

I made a statement in a recent question regarding the salvation of satan.... the question was " If "Faith Alone" saves, will Satan be saved?"
and I said, you need to be saved AND accept Jesus, so in the words of the soup nazi,
"no salvation for you"


I thought it was funny .....
but of course the thumbs down flew.... what do you think? - not about my comment so much, but about humour... if we have faith in Jesus, are we allowed to be humorous?

So I just got fired from a job I really liked for a really, really dumb reason. Does the Christian god hate me? Or is it just Loki playing a trick? I'm burning my incense to Buddha and trying to stay calm, but I'm really, really mad right now.

What passage in the Bible forbids lesbian love-making?


Roman 1:26 doesnt answer the question. It only puts it at negative light at best (let alone its not the point leading up to it), but doesn't forbidden it.

...and there is nothing that you can do about it? I come here and answer some questions and ask a few and avoid talking to anyone straight-on like crazy. I don't want to talk about it. I don't know how to let it go. Our worst individual fears clashed yesterday. Both have to do with rejection and validation. We agree that these fears are irrational. What makes them so is the depth and the inability to cope. She was so upset she got sick. I was so upset I got angry because I knew not how to cope with my own fears. I'm working on it. I don't know why she didn't just leave, or why she loves me so still. I know it's best not to dwell but that seems impossible right now. Blame is killing us both, and we blame ourselves. I hate myself for saying things in anger I never meant - I get so frightened when I think I'm being rejected, and my fear was playing upon her own, and vice versa. I cannot stand the fact that she is in pain right now and seeing her is impossible. She is so good to me,

I just wanted to know how people think the Universe came to be if you don't belive in God? I would think the big band theory would be it. particles that were here exploded and transformed into what we have now. How did those particles get there if no one put them there? Something can't come from nothing?

I know most will just get on here and say yes or no, but seriously, have you ever considered that your words (thousands of miles away across a pipeline) might just change something in society one day. What if a politician, artist, athlete, entrepreneur or whomever slightly altered their views because of little old you. These people must read something on the Internet so why not your posts?

Only in certain parts of the USA. Nobody else in the developed world is seriously debating whether or not evolution happened. Nobody in Britain, France, Germany, the rest of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada...

And that everybody in those countries is either laughing at you or shaking their head and saying "Americans..." as if it's all Americans?

And also that the only people in the USA that deny evolution are very religious, and did not come to that conclusion via science?

Are you also aware that sensible Christians take the Genesis story for what it is supposed to be - a metaphor?

My question is, why when you're the most powerful nation on earth do you feel the need to let it down so?

So me and my guy friend (hes gay also) were at the beach today and we were laying on the sand minding our own business when these two guys were walking by talking pretty loudly...well naturally if two people walk past im generally curious and look weather its a male or a female...well they were talking loudly which attracted more attention to them so me and my friend both looked up at them the same time and they saw us both look up at them and as tehy were walking away one of teh guys mumbled f***ing h*mo's...I got sooo pissed b/c #1 they were ugly not even attractive and #2 i was just looking up to look up i wasn't checking them out...it just made me and my friend soo mad...i haven't been made fun of for being gay since the beg. of h.s....everyone i know is pretty accepting...this just made me soo mad...why is there such hateful, conceided, ignorant people out there...im sick of it! what can be done? P.s.-this question was reported by someone can you believe it...ugh

We were friends for a long time. somewhere along the way I developed feelings for her. She doesn't roll that way. I lost her as my friend. She totaly cut me off. I swear myself and my neighbors have heard and seen things that kinda freak me, but now my 7 yr old is hearing the same things that I haven't mentioned to her!

My mom likes a man who is mormon.. now she wants to become one. The only problem here is that she has been christian her whole life. She doesnt even know if this man likes her.. she just likes him.... I am not supportive in this at all. I feel its very immature of her do this. What shall i say to her when she wants to "preach" to me?
