I know most will just get on here and say yes or no, but seriously, have you ever considered that your words (thousands of miles away across a pipeline) might just change something in society one day. What if a politician, artist, athlete, entrepreneur or whomever slightly altered their views because of little old you. These people must read something on the Internet so why not your posts?

I'd like to add that one reason I got on here to begin with is because I would type in keywords on Google and often land on this board. I don't really too many would come here for entertainment so I was thinking in terms of just landing here based on keywords.

I actually agree with all these different views in some way- lol

A few monthes ago in France, before the elections, Ségolène Royal held a website entitled : ''désir d'avenir'' (desire of future). All the people who wanted to give some ideas about her policy just had to post it on the web.
For socialists, it was a good thing because it was a proof of democracy.
For her opponents, it was an other proof that she didn't have a platform and tried to get new ideas by this way.
I really don't know if she has taken ideas coming from her website, but I think the answer for your question is YES.
Moroever, internet is always more and more big and influent, I mean people give more and more his mind on all topics using the net, and it is a good way for example for an artist to have critics coming from everybody and anybody.

I do wonder who reads these posts and I think that it would be great if someone would do great things to change things in our society today for the better I really think it would be great if they could help the poverty here in the U.S. for example before they help other countries I am all for helping other countries but alot of people here in teh U.S. need help and they need to come up with a better system for health insurance as well for the American people, it is very sad to know that other countries have a better system where all have health insurance,I just think that the government really needs to adjust there spending habits as well as alot of people in general because society says you are nothing unless you have it all. Yes perhaps you may your way to the top but just remember there are many people that have very little in life and many of them are more happier than yourself.
and last but not least the next time you run to the store to buy something that you really had to have because you wanted it just think of the people less fortunate than yourself that would love to be able to provide for their childrens needs but do not have the money to do so.
Wants or needs what is really more important?
Well I think you all have the point.
Lets hope that someone does make a difference because of what I have posted.

I'm sure no famous people spend time in here reading post. If you look at the names in here there's about at the most 1000 people in here. Nothing in here has a impact on any person or thing.
