Why are Horoscopes sometimes accurate?
I am christian and I have always known that horoscopes were not from God but I would like to more such as why?

It's been my experience that nonbelievers know the buybull better than believers. And really, all you need to do is appeal to their egos then shame them a bit..but not too much

But anyway I've always wondered what people thought of this. Do you think, if there is a god, he likes to just play with us a little bit. Like constantly make little inconvenient things happen to us all the time just for his own entertainment? Nothing serious, just funny, annoying, little daily inconveniences?

People have said that God is everywhere. That would mean that God is in you. That particulate matter is in you that is divine, that is everlasting, that is part of all knowing. If you perish from this mortal life and God is in you as I have stated, as has been related to me by people who seem to make more sense than others in my life....people who sometimes call themselves pagans, also believing in multiplicity of God in infinite places,.....if you die from this mortal life with God in you, then how can God separate from your particulate matter? And if you say that this God of yours can do so, then you have to admit then that God is not everywhere. And if you admit that God is not everywhere, doesn't that mean that something else is just as powerful as your God and exists in all these "unrighteous" spaces that you have in your preprogrammed imagination? And so now you have 2 Gods or more that are somehow equal or what? Please explain if you have this latter opinion

My co-worker's wife just gave birth yesterday. We are fairly close friends for co-workers. Am I suppose to give them a gift or a card for the new baby? I dont want the wife to feel uncomftorable with the idea, considering I never met her. Should I just say congrats or a get them gift and if so do you think she will feel wierd getting a gift from her husband's female friend/co-woker she never met?

I asked a question earilier about how some racists are so low as to vent their hatred on children, and someone answered with this post

"I had to deal with a mixed race child who was treated so badly by both teacher and pupils. He held me so tight with anger and sob in my arms saying ' I am so tired and fed up, they treat me like this all the time. What have I done? By the time I calmed him down most teachers were watching and pretended it was not happening. I then called all the children and told them not to isolate him and that the one who plays with children who have no friends will get extra stars for being kind and helping others to feel good. I explained to them that it is wrong to treat others like that. Before long all the others were playing and running around with him. Only one teacher came round to say I saw what you did and that was the right thing to do. "

And I was wondering how many of these children that are mistreated turn into racists themselves?

Nowhere in Hebrew texts, or hebrew OT is that name given. Nor in any Muslims texts.
It is only given once in the bible when refering to Venus, the morning star, King Nebachanezzar, of Babylon, in the same passage.
Nowhere else is Lucifer mentioned.
Why do christians insist Satan is Lucifer?

hi to all christian brothers from all faith, let's talk about the 1st commandment vs worshiping the trinity?

"you shall not take other gods before Me"

Jesus seperates himself from being God in this verse
Matthew 19:17
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Jesus is calling his God for help?
"my God! my God! why haven't you forsaken me"?!

Jesus is calling people to worship one God, notice the word "OUR GOD" including him:
"Hear o Israel, the lord our God is one.."

and you still don't want to believe?

I saw them on American news the other day, I think it was CNN or CNBC... They were holidng a meeting and they were waving their Bibles and crosses... One had an interview and he said "We aren't bad people"!!!
