Having known more about the "other" side of spirituality than I care to divulge, I think I can shed some light on this for you. You do not need to know too much about this. Keep your Christianity pure.

Know this, the angels who show the future, as in horoscopes, are angels. They are not angels of God anymore. They still are stronger, smarter, quicker and have more knowledge than we. They can "see" the future. Their intent in showing the future to us is not to instruct or help us but to entrap us in believing in spiritual power that does not belong to God.

So are horoscopes accurate sometimes, yes. This is not by accident or coincidence but truly from the spiritual world. Does God or any of His angels do this. No, absolutely not.

Take care of yourself,

Yours in Christ Jesus, Grace

Because there is a percentage that will be right for someone. They are usually vague enough to fit many situations. Primo's right the devil (and or his demons) can help make it seem like it fits.....Did you know they found 2 more constellations after the horoscopes were created which means they really should have 14 not 12....I'd rather believe in the One who made the stars than the stars.

Horoscopes are generalized - I can in general guess certain things that apply to almost anyone. As to why someone may have all of the characteristics of their sign, it's probably because you grow up hearing that if your a Cancer, you're an overly emotional person who loves deeply, needs to have an overwhelming sense of "home" wherever you are, etc, etc and so on. So at some point in your life, you have an experience that was very emotional for you and then it's like "WOW. That's exactly what they say I'm supposed to be like." Truth is, ALL people will have times or situations arise in thier lives when they become overly emotional about something. There will be times in ALL peoples lives when they crave the feeling of "home". Etc. etc. and so on.

Horoscopes are not from God, they are bogus, vague enough to form to anyone's current situation and generalized enough to apply to just about any body on any given day.

Horoscopes are so full of general, nonspecific information. I used to be into reading them.
It's like shaking a magic 8 ball. Some people put faith in those things.
You're supposed to have faith in God. Not a horoscope.

We are not to even look to those things in fun. Besides, why would we look to the stars for answers when we have the One who made the stars? I think the key to your question is that they are sometimes accurate. Not always. I also do think that some of these people can obtain some power, but we still shouldn't have any part of it.

Horoscopes are usually broad enough to be "accurate" for a large number of people. Even when you guess something, you sometimes guess correctly.

No one on this earth today has the gift of prophesy.

They're sometimes accurate because they are so vague that they're bound to apply to life in some way.

I'm a Christian and I enjoy reading horoscopes once in awhile. It's fun. But don't take it seriously.

2116 All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to "unveil" the future. Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.

Simply,
Horoscopes are writtebn in a very generalized manner so that they may cover a number of instances in one's life. Thsy are a thing from satan's realm and are NOT from our FATHER. I do not read them anymore and I do not need to know anything more about them because I pray and ask GOD for the things that I need and do not have. HIS WORD is enough for a True ChristiaN. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds

The ones in the newspaper are just generalized silliness. The horoscopes done by a professional from your individual information are pretty accurate. Don't know why.
