I don't want to offend anybody

But anyway I've always wondered what people thought of this. Do you think, if there is a god, he likes to just play with us a little bit. Like constantly make little inconvenient things happen to us all the time just for his own entertainment? Nothing serious, just funny, annoying, little daily inconveniences?

Look at this way, would you entertain yourself at the expense of causing little inconvenient things to happen to people?
If your answer is no, then how can you be kinder than God?
God is a loving God and is ready always to bless us. Inconvenient things happen because of man's stupdity not God's

No. He has loved us, and prepared a kingdom for us, since before the foundation of the world.
Matthew 25:34
Ephesians 1:4

This does not imply that we are exempt from trials and tribulation both personally and corporately.

Matthew 5:45
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

In the midst of the storm I will bless His Holy name.

In my opinion, God never throws a little road block in your path, without a good reason. Anything he throws at you, could be considered a test. Either a test of your faith, your calm, your joy, etc. I've never known God to throw anything at you that you can't take care of by working hard and leaning on him.

Instance # 1: God in his marvelous perfection got me into college 400 miles away from my parents. That's where I met my best friend. We were that close from 1987-2000, when he died.

Instance #2: In 1993, God called my Grandfather home, and that's when I found myself set on the path of being a medical professional.

It's funny how things work out, even though at the time, it seems like an insurmountable task.

Anonymous, I don't really have an answer. You might find this amusing. The famous understudy of Sigmund Freud was a guy named Carl Jung. Some same Jung was better than Freud. Jung cited a dream he had. There was a big storm and there were these big balls of "dung" falling from the sky. The big balls of poop destroyed the church. I think it was a Methodist church. In German, others asked him how he interpreted this dream? Jung answered in German, " Sometimes God shits!" heehee. See, you think like some of the great ones?

If I were superstitious, I would probably believe that there was a Super Being who thought and acted like a human being, hidden somewhere behind the mists of reality, and payed attention to my existence, and caused every little thing to happen to me, and others, so I could instead of detest evil, glorify it in that Super Being's name.

But I'm not. "I cannot conceive of a God who rewards and punishes his creatures, or has a will of the kind that we experience in ourselves. Neither can I nor would I want to conceive of an individual that survives his physical death; let feeble souls, from fear or absurd egoism, cherish such thoughts."

I'm sure lots of people feel this way. The bible says God does not tempt. It also says that the bad things that happen to us are because of sin. A lot of that is within the religious world. It says nothing about him entertaining himself. So who really knows. Although, He is love. If it's harmless who knows?

God Really Cares
Does God Really Care?
Prayers That Are Heard by God
IT IS only natural to call to God for help when we are in dire straits. After all, he “is great and is abundant in power; his understanding is beyond recounting.” (Psalm 147:5) He is in the very best position to help us to cope with our problems. Added to that, the Bible invites us to ‘pour out our heart’ before him. (Psalm 62:8) Why is it, then, that so many have the impression that God does not answer their prayers? Does that mean that he does not care?

Rather than being quick to blame God for any seeming inaction, think back to the time when you were a child. When your parents did not give in to your every demand, did you ever accuse them of not loving you? Many children do. When you grew up, however, you appreciated that love is displayed in many ways and that saying yes to a child’s every request is not really the loving thing to do.

Similarly, if Jehovah does not always answer our prayers to our liking, it does not mean that he is ignoring us. The truth is, God shows his concern for all of us in many ways.

“By Him We Have Life”
First of all, it is thanks to God that “we have life and move and exist.” (Acts 17:28) Giving us life surely shows his loving concern for us!

Further, Jehovah supplies what we need in order for us to stay alive. We read: “He is making green grass sprout for the beasts, and vegetation for the service of mankind, to cause food to go forth from the earth.” (Psalm 104:14) In fact, our Creator does more than provide the bare necessities of life. He generously gives “rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling [our] hearts to the full with food and good cheer.”—Acts 14:17.

Still, some may wonder, ‘If God loves us so much, why is he allowing us to suffer?’ Do you know the answer to that question?

Is God to Blame?
Much of mankind’s suffering is self-inflicted. For example, the dangers of certain high-risk activities are well-known. Still, people engage in sexual immorality, abuse alcohol and other drugs, use tobacco, participate in extreme sports, drive too fast, and so forth. If such risky behavior results in suffering, who is to blame? God or the one acting unwisely? God’s inspired Word says: “Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap.”—Galatians 6:7.

In addition, humans often hurt one another. When a nation declares war, surely God is not to blame for the suffering that results. When a criminal attacks a fellow citizen, is God to blame for any resulting injury or death? Of course not! When a dictator oppresses, tortures, and murders those under his control, should we blame God? That would be unreasonable.—Ecclesiastes 8:9.

What, though, of the millions who live in abject poverty or who are starving? Is God to blame? No. Our planetary home supplies more than enough food to feed everyone. (Psalm 10:2, 3; 145:16) It is the unequal distribution of the God-given bounty that leads to widespread hunger and poverty. And human selfishness prevents that problem from being solved.

No this is not only humanistic thought it is illogical when you consider the nature of God, He is always true and constant in Himself and the dual aspects of Mercy and Justice would be a contradiction to a God of practical jokes.

Let me give you a little inside information about God. God likes to watch. He's a prankster. Think about it. He gives man instincts. He gives you this extraordinary gift, and then what does He do, I swear for His own amusement, his own private, cosmic gag reel, He sets the rules in opposition. It's the goof of all time. Look but don't touch. Touch, but don't taste. Taste, don't swallow. Ahaha. And while you're jumpin' from one foot to the next, what is he doing? He's laughin' His sick, fu.ckin' *** off! He's a tight-***! He's a SADIST! He's an absentee landlord! Worship that? NEVER!

your question is funny and nieve. I guess it is obvious that you do not know GOD, and possibly are trying to stir up trouble. You have GOD mixed up with satan. satan does do exactly that. GOD only wants the best for you. HE loves you and cares deeply for you and does not play games with your life.
