The simplest way to get miracles is to make them happen ourselves. Involving a deity is inefficient and probably pointless.

Remember this and you will not go too far wrong, God owes us nothing but gives us much, God is not answerable to us but yet does give answer to our herats prayer, God was justly entitled to wipe out the whole human race after the fall but chose to be merciful.
God is not the slave of humanity but yet in Christ came as a Servant.

If you believe in God, wouldn't you want God's favor? The primary way to communicate with Him is through prayer. And those of us who believe feel we need God's protection, guidance, forgiveness, why not His favor as well?

sure, if you think he's real. what other value does he have if he can't help his believers. when I was a kid, I asked santa for favors every year. the only thing he ever expected was a plate of cookies and some milk.

I don't pray for favors.....as He is not obligated to answer my prayers to begin with....
But we are commanded to pray.....and it is a priviledge to talk to the One who created & saved me
