Here is a quote I pulled off the web in reference to spirits the emphasis on barely educated is mine. I just wanted to point out what rational people think of those with these kind of beliefs. Don't people have any pride. I would hate to be in the "barely educated" category. "BARELY EDUCATED villagers living in remote mountain valleys are blaming the increasing number of AIDS deaths not on promiscuity or a lack of condom use but on malign spirits."

the way i feel this out has 7 steps
1. the sound of there voice.
2. the things there actions show.
3. there attitued on the things and actions around them.
4. to the psychic vibes they give out.
5. also the way they look and carry there selfs.
6. the way they respond to you as a person of observation.
7. the things that they are fasinated with that draws ther attention and spritual intrest as religon.
Also i dont see this to be a thing of observation but spritual power I notice that everyone can do this but not everyone does only a selected few can mostly WICKENS & MASONS PREACHERS, PSYCHIC'S, and anyone who is in touch with there spritual side of there own being. A well known fact that when i reached this spritual side of my being i atracted MASONS to me & was also attacked by a WICKEN this is something you really never hear about & no one every really speaks on this subject I think it's real from my own personal experience so what do you think ?????????????????????????????

Man created the concept of time, so just how long could a day be for God? If we look at the size of the universe, which he created, it could be many hundred thousands of years, or perhaps that's just a blink of the eye to God.

I mean in a serious manner. I know many people that get hounded by Protestants who admit that they have actually never been told that they are going to hell by Catholics.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows a Catholic who does this?

I really, really hate people and human nature... yet I come across these certain people for whom my heart strives to keep beating. I always cast them away from me, I guess, because I am incapable of communicating with them in regards to the way I feel about this species, this planet, our social and technological evolution, etc. I feel that not only can anyone grasp my rage, anyone who loves me will be driven away when they hear me laugh at the sight or sound of death. I used to be a pacifistic humanist.... can I simply forget all the reasons why I hate everyone and everything, and return to a life of peaceful, oblivious, lovable ignorance? I can think of more than a few people who would love for that to happen.

I'm Catholic, but everytime I meet someone that I really get along well with, I always find out that they hate Catholics (most of my friends are atheist or agnostic). Everyone always assumes I'm atheist. I think this is because I do not push my religion upon them, although if they ask me about it, I am willing to discuss it.

Do you think it's odd that I seem to get along best with people who completely despise my religion?

In the beginning God created Adam & Eve, but when Cain went out into the world he married. Where did all these other people come from? The bible constantly counterdicts itself, so just what do we base our faith on.

He's known about the prophecy in Revelations for more than a thousand years. All he'd have to do is hire a reputable ad agency and retain a few strategists. It's not like it's hard or anything.

I have a church home group tomorrow. And this week i was asked to lead the group. Except i can't think of anything to talk about. There are 7 women in th egroup including me, and i was asked to prepare something short to talk about and then maybe discuss it. Anyone has any ideas? It doesn't really have to be a subject, maybe a poem or a story that is really inspiring or touching/emotional relating to God. Please Help

they're treating you in a way you don't want to be treated?
The Golden Rule is to treat others the way you like to be treated.

If someone treats you bad does that mean they're just asking for it back? Should that mean I treat them poorly?

Or is it to just one's view? No matter how other want to be treated you still treat them how you want to.

But if everyone's treating each other they want to be treated how can they actually get it?

Being an artist(my girlfriend calls me a "frustrating" artist, rather than a "frustrated" artist; a term of affection...I hope) and an Atheist, I haven't a traditional picture of God...or any picture at all. Perhaps I just never considered God in terms that I can relate to. So, here is my effort to try. Which of the following artists most closely approaches the ideal of God:

Andy Warhol(Completely unapproachable, except through his work)

Yoko Ono(Complicated performance artist---I actually like and respect her, and have met her!)

Robert Mapplethorpe(Photographer of both the light, and very dark, side of life)

Piet Mondrian(Plasticist; think of "The Partridge Family" bus)

Otto Dix(Able to construct a very personal hell for everyone)

Alastair(Art Nouveau at its most sinister; also a devout Catholic)

What do you think?

Mormons invite people to learn the basics of the church and then pray to God to find out if the things that they are teaching are true or if they are false.

I know of no other church that asks everyone to do this. Are the Mormons the only one?

Is every other church afraid of what God's answer might be?

Do you know of any other church that makes such a widespread invitation?

After all, if God does have a church, and if he does speak to us, wouldn't he guide us to find it if we sincerely sought it???
