Quote, "Why were human beings created on Earth?"
Ah, a mystery, perhaps THE greatest among the mysteries, not only of our tiny planet in the hinterlands of our galaxy, the Milky Way, but also in the universe (or would that be going too far?). Why are we humans here at all? Fish go deep to the bottom of the sea, which we cannot do unaided; birds fly, which we cannot do unaided; several other animals run faster, far faster. But we have that truly remarkable bit of wire, goo and other mushy stuff, and almost unbelievable connecting powers of that wiring and goo--a brain in which reason, creativity, 'thought,' and curiosity thrive, even in the dullest amongst us. We are only beginning, now, to understand the possibilities of this organ. Do not judge humans from what you read on R&S--in fact, much of the chatter here is a throwback to the Middle Ages. In not so many years, in universal 'time,' that 'throwback' shall go the way of most of such antique frights, fears, superstitions and childhood "beliefs," as we now see happening in Western Europe. But you asked 'Why were we created,' or, more to the point, 'Why are we here'? To be sure, it is not to 'worship' a Bronze Age god of a murdering tribe of desert nomads. I understand the impulse behind that, the 'need' to worship, to believe in a god, but such a belief is childish, irrational, even destructive (as we see in Iraq now). Perhaps there is no reason at all. In centuries to come, if our species survives a great many more centuries, we shall be thinking that we are here to keep our little blue ball alive and healthy and beautiful. We aren't doing a wonderful job of that at the moment. Alas. It was a wise and exciting question you asked.

I am not trying to act dumb here but do we
really know why humans are on earth?
Maybe we could look In the Lords words to
find out or go ask him.
I don't know about you but when I meet the Lord
I will not be coming back.

Hi
Actually we are all residents of the spiritual world. Where there is no birth, death ,oldage, full of bliss and full of knowledge. We are happy in the spiritual world by serving the almighty, all beautiful Lord. But we thought in our mind that we also want to become the master like the Lord. It is not possible (because we are infinitesmall compare to the infine big Lord and many things..).
Because of compassion towards his children he created this material world covered with illusion. This illusion makes us to think that we are master.
The answer to your question is a big subject of matter. the compleate vedas descibe this.
I hope this will answer partillay to your question
Thank you
Gopi

From time immemorial this question poses a mystery for man.
Innumerable thinkers and spiritualists have spent a lot of their time and efforts in seeking an answer to this question.
The only answer which saints in the past have unravelled is
that
Man should trace and reach the source from where he originated, namely God.
In short, the reason for man's birth in this world is only to find his divine roots and try to go back to it.
This is the excercise which is the sole purpose and goal of man.

To settle the Karmic debts accumulated over many births, human birth is vital. Thus we are born in a particular family and particular environment in order to mutually help each other in family, support them physically, morally and financially and tend them. The relationship of mother and son, wife and husband, sister and brother are evolved over this karmic causes.
