I have a church home group tomorrow. And this week i was asked to lead the group. Except i can't think of anything to talk about. There are 7 women in th egroup including me, and i was asked to prepare something short to talk about and then maybe discuss it. Anyone has any ideas? It doesn't really have to be a subject, maybe a poem or a story that is really inspiring or touching/emotional relating to God. Please Help

Ask everyone to make a list of the things they think God would like them to accomplish for him, before they leave this world. Have each person read their list. Yall can compare them and discuss each item.

How about something that God has been working out with you lately? Some insight from others could be helpful to you and others in the group. Pray about it and ask God for inspiration through His Spirit.

well, according to the RC calendar, last Sunday was the 3rd Sunday after Pentecost, so why not talk about Baptism in the Spirit? Start off with Luke 1:15

If you have been asked to lead a group and you have accepted the responsibility....then you should also be able to trust that whatever inspiration is required for the moment will be there when you need it.

I regularly chat with other working moms who are Christians. One of our biggest issues is lack of time and the amount of stress we deal with in juggling all the tasks expected of us as both moms and workers.

How about tackling a topic on how to remain peaceful in the midst of the busyness of your life?
(Busyness deliberately misspelled)

Humility is subject with lots of room for conversation to wander about in.....

If you open, talk about the difference between being humiliated, feeling humbled through awe, humility in relationship to service of others etc. It will give people "springboards" to dive off from....

Good Luck
