When we make up our own rules-say like that Jesus never existed -which is the biggest joke ever said-with more evidence of his life and death and resurrection with over 500 witnesses recorded in the book of Acts.

more evidence that Jesus did come to the earth, than anyone else that ever lived

yet say if we say -I reject Jesus, I reject that he died as promised for my sins, in fact I dont even believe anything is wrong with lying and murdering and being unfaithful to your husband/wife

does that mean there is nothing wrong with sinning?

will you still be saved in the last day when as Jesus says Every knee will bow to him at the judgement seat.

If you say you dont know what happens after death-or that you know nothing will happen after you pass on-Why would Jesus lie about this and talk about the joy of heaven in salvation and describe heaven and hell too in Revelation 19-22nd chapter.

why did Jesus offer to come into our heart door to SAVE us Revelation 1:1 3:19&20

My new job is making me pass a credit check. I going to work in a bank. If I do not pass, I don't get the job.

I know the reason is because people with bad credit have the potential to steal from their employeers. However, isn't that discrimination?

I don't think I'll pass. I have bad credit, yet I would never steal. That's just wrong. I made mistakes regarding my credit and I must act as an adult and fix it. Stealing would only make my life worse. I would get caught and then have bad credit and be in jail.

Do you think it's wrong to discriminate against bad credit? Isn't that similar to saying, b/c someone is a certain race/ethnicity they have a higher chance of stealing. That woudl be racisim.

What do people think?

Chaps who blame Jesus when a bad thing comes your way, which he ignores, please don't blame him. My belief is that a man named Jesus walked along a narrow, dusty spit of land inhabited by Semites and Roman soldiers and administrators. Across what would be, today, a short life, he preached and posed as a healer, one of many. No small part of his instructions, in regard to morals etc., were drawn from wiser men in centuries past. But, nonetheless, he was a good man, he meant well, and some say he sided with the liberal Jews of the day, who wanted the oppressive Romans out. What he was not, was 'devine,' a god, or the son of a god. Romans torturned him and nailed him to what had long been standard in Roman executions, a 'cross.' He was a Jew; he was born a Jew; his mother was a Jew; he preached as a Jew; he died as a Jew. Do you really think it's fair to blame the fellow for terrible things happening to you today? The man's been dead for 2000 years.

once the dying gods used their last breath
to blow away the stairway from earth to Olympus
Only by gazing toward heavens can mere mortals
Glimpse what is now myth and legend
But when thunder clouds part and stretch their
Shadows into the eternal light, My heart stops...
and I know it is real...
If only I can find my way there...

Why do people usually start their statement by "...With ALL due RESPECT...", while the following statement clearly shows such disrespect?

Are they just saying that to avoid law suit, follow etiquette, or what?

should have a "pass" that means they have priority in a queue at the weekend over people who could go anytime in the week?(e.g. saturday morning in the post office or barber/hairdressers)
im sorry but i get well p*ss*d off when i go to the post office or barbers the only day i can and i have to queue up behind 2 dozen retired people , fulltime housewives and anyone else that could simply go in the week!
why do they have to go on a saturday???
this could work for shopping at tesco's etc . "express till for the employed"
i think this would encourage those who can to go at other times to ease the pressure of britains already over stressed workforce.and would give everybody more time

My boyfriend and I have talked about marriage, and I will be converting for the sake of our children when we have them. I have been saved, but will have to be baptised in the Catholic church, along with being confirmed and having my first Communion. Is it possible to do these the same day as the wedding? Thanks!

I asked a question about all on R&S to pray to honor God in all questions and answers. That was an unintentional disrespect to your belief and for that I am sorry. Really.

I have only had to say it out loud a few times (well OK, a few dozen times)

But I have shouted it in my mind a thousand times or more.

Am I alone in this? Every time it raises my hackles and it motivates me to do far more than 99% of the able bodied population.

Is there a better way to deal with being told what I can and can't do?

Jesus was a Jew... Much of Jesus' support came from the "outcasts" of society rather than the elite of the church at that time ... the sick and poor as well as prostitutes. So if there is to be a second comming of Christ, wouldn't Vegas be a more likely place for him to show up rather than a multi-million dollar church filled with well dressed upper middle class folks who scream I believe?

Atheists claim that their beliefs are based on science, but it seems they simply pick and choose whatever science suits them, and reject any science that doesn‘t agree with them. For example; regarding the origins of the universe and of life, they routinely reject the natural laws of; ‘Probability’; ‘Cause and Effect’; ‘Biogenesis’; ‘Information Theory’, ‘Thermodynamics’. they either ignore these laws altogether or, if challenged, say that these natural laws are not universal or, that for some reason, they don’t apply to the particular circumstances of their beliefs. If your beliefs cause you to reject or manipulate FUNDAMENTAL LAWS of science, then surely those beliefs have to be regarded as unscientific nonsense, and those who promote them as anti-science.
