Chaps who blame Jesus when a bad thing comes your way, which he ignores, please don't blame him. My belief is that a man named Jesus walked along a narrow, dusty spit of land inhabited by Semites and Roman soldiers and administrators. Across what would be, today, a short life, he preached and posed as a healer, one of many. No small part of his instructions, in regard to morals etc., were drawn from wiser men in centuries past. But, nonetheless, he was a good man, he meant well, and some say he sided with the liberal Jews of the day, who wanted the oppressive Romans out. What he was not, was 'devine,' a god, or the son of a god. Romans torturned him and nailed him to what had long been standard in Roman executions, a 'cross.' He was a Jew; he was born a Jew; his mother was a Jew; he preached as a Jew; he died as a Jew. Do you really think it's fair to blame the fellow for terrible things happening to you today? The man's been dead for 2000 years.

Why would I blame a 2000 year old corpse for anything?

Well, I disagree with your opinion that Jesus was not a divine being, but I'm not posting a response just to argue with you.

The reason people blame Jesus is twofold:
1 Because they are under the false impression that Jesus and God are the same person (whether or not you believe in either is a WHOLE different can of worms, so plz just bear with me on this 1 strictly 4 argument's sake).
2 They believe God has planned every minute detail of the future, which would automatically make Him the cause of every evil that has ever happened.

Assuming that you consider the Bible to be a valid source, neither of these views are valid because they find no base in the scriptures.

Jesus is pure, Holy, and true. He died for our sins, so that He could make a way of escape from the eternal punishment that awaits anyone that does not receive Him as Lord and Savior.
Anytime anything goes wrong in our life, it is not Jesus' fault, but ours. As His born again believers we have His protection, but even then through sin or unforgiveness we open the door to Satan to steal, kill, and destroy in our life.
As far as the Muslim belief, Jesus Himself said:
(John 14:6 KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The reason why Jesus was the acceptable sacrifice is He is God. All men have sinned and sin disqualifies anyone from being that sacrifice.
Yes Jesus is a Prophet, but also Emmanuel that is God with us. Any other way does not save anyone. Yes Jesus is alive today, He arose from the dead. He is seated at the righthand of the Father, awaiting the time when He shall return , then He shall set up His Kingdom on this earth.

I don't see where Jesus actually get 'blamed' for terrible things happening today - perhaps I missed out on some more-than-usual Christian aberrations.
Anyway, to blame anything other than one's own choices is nothing less than superstition - just what Christians CLAIM they don't subscribe to.
His name has been used by organized religious leaders to support their power-mongering efforts, and in the process, attributes were ascribed to him that he didn't come with nor would have agreed with.
Then again, blaming these religious leaders for today's ignorant superstitions and prejudices is equally ludicrous.
I would not blame a rattlesnake for trying to bite me. I would just stay out of its way.

Ah, therein lies the problem. Some believe that Jesus is G-d so blaming him also blames G-d. But, in answer to your main question, no it isn't fair to blame anyone else for their shortcomings or failings.

Jesus,God Incarnte, lives. It is convenient, but unfullfilling and imature, to blame God for every thing that goes wrong.

Thank You...There are many who are trapped by Constantinian aberrations, perversions by the Churchianity concepts and traditionalist assumption. I think you have it pretty much correct from my perspective. Kudos to you.

Of course NOT , He is a prophet/..
isn't that strange that muslims respect him and consider him as a prophet of Islam as Muhammed and Moses , and u christians don't?!!

MUSLIMS respect Jesus (peace be upon him) , and await his second coming. They consider him one of the greatest of God's messengers to mankind....
A Muslim never refers to him simply as 'Jesus', but always adds the phrase "peace be upon him." The Qur'an confirms his virgin birth (a chapter of the Qur'an is entitled 'Mary') in her time, and Mary is considered the purest woman in all creation.
