They'll effectively be creating their own R&S forum, just for them. Any thoughts from non-sissies?

I say, "More power to 'em." It beats them reporting everyone who doesn't agree with them. That, and the "thumbs-down" situation is absolutely humorous with them around. All you have to do is shed positive light on Atheism, and it's like planting "thumbs-down" seeds in fertile soil.

[Edit] See that? Another sprout!

People are only "supposed" to block if it's hateful, nonsensical, or otherwise slanderous content. But there is room for abuse and abuse is common around R&S.

I wouldn't block you (or any athiest or agnostic, etc) so long as you had sincere and meaningful thoughts and questions to bring to the forum. I'm all for intelligent debate and lively discussion, so long as it doesn't get negative.

That would be great! Then we don't have to see all the filth and garbage otherwise posted on answers. Then we couldn't "shove" "religion" down your throat or try and indoctrinate you like other "religions" and you could post whatever useless, pathetic, unoriginal comments you want without any consequences in return. Last I checked, it was called FREEDOM OF SPEECH to retort in return of anothers idiotic comments. Yeah! I'm a REAL fruit cake!

I don't think all the Christians are-just the nutty ones.
Let them form their own R&S section. Then they can 'preach to the choir' and discover for themselves how inefficient and boring it is. They'll be begging for 'atheistic' opinions after that.

The only people I've blocked are idiotic trolls and hatemongers. Their belief or non-belief has nothing to do with it. If you fall into the troll or hatemonger categories, then I figure you're parents need to monitor your internet use. If the trolls and hatemongers are adults, they need to see a shrink and get on the correct medication.

Sticking fingers in ears when presented with opposing points of view is what they do in the real world, why not in Yahoo as well?

Let them if they want to be a bad example of what being a disciple of Christ is. You can not make a person be wise.
