I've taught all my grandkids to hold open a door for the person behind them, especially when that person has his or her hands full, but I need to ask advice specifically about men opening doors for women. I have always opened doors for my wife. We're very much equal partners in our marriage, so in my mind it's a sign of respect, just one of the little things men do for the women they love to show that they care, and I know that's how she sees it, too, but we're both a bit old-fashioned. Now that my grandson is getting older, he's starting to follow my lead by opening the door for his grandmother, and I've suggested that he do the same for his sister and her friends when they are with us. But now I'm wondering whether I've done the right thing in that last part, whether what is to me a kind gesture will be taken by girls of later generations as offensive. I know from experience that some women see men opening doors for them as a sexist act. Am I teaching him something good or bad?

I do in some ways believe in God but i have trouble understanding why so many innocent children are mudered and or abused by their own parents.If God knows all and sees all why then does he permit these senseless crimes against little children who do not want anything but love from their parents.Abuse or muder against adults is bad enough but muder and abuse on little children should not be something that is easy to ignor no matter what your belief's are.I would like to hear from other people on what they think about this ongoing and worseining problem.God is supposed to love his children not let them die from by their parents hands or anyone elses hands.

I mean come on, do evolutionists really think life formed spontaneously???

This does not occur in our universe. Scientists have been trying to create life in a lifeless enviorments in laboratories and all the tests have been unsuccesful!

Why do they keep insisting life formed without a creator? and why do they keep insisting we evolved without any evidence. There is about 7,000,000,000 humans living today and none of us show sign of evolution. Nor has there been any sign of evolution in the last 6000 years. Are you guys delusional or something?

Is it because that's what we've always been referred to by anyone who has ever referred to us in your churches? Or do special rules of grammar and punctuation apply, as in the refusal of some to acknowledge the correct use of the genitive case (it's "in Jesus's name", not "in Jesus' name")?

Genuinely curious. Where did you pick up this form and why do you persist with it?

(If you're among the Christians who do use the correct plural, there's no need to answer just to say "what are you talking about, not all Christians do this, *I* always use the plural form" - it makes scrolling down the answers a bit tedious. Thanks.)

you guys pray to jesus because u think he was born from a virgin MARRY then what about ADAM AND EVE why dont u pray to them because they were born with out mother or father

I received answers from some people which are clearly lies. the question asked you who has the authority to edit a bible. the bible clearly has been edited many times. I can understanding defending your religion with what you know as the truth. however, obviously lying about something that is factual is just ridiculous.
