For example: What do they think of Bulimia and Anorexia? Can you please cite your sources, if possible?

Thanks to anyone that answers! ^_^

It is wrong to do anything harmful to our bodys. The spirit of God lives in us. We are Gods temple.

1Corinthians 3:16&17

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth with you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Gluttony is one of the 7 deadly sins and all eating disorders are related to that. Anorexia is a gluttonous person who feels they have to starve themselves to keep from overeating. Bullimics overeat, then purge. Of course, having a religious condemning attitude towards human frailty and weakness is primitive. The idea is to UNDERSTAND ourselves, not judge and condemn.

Why would the Catholic Church have "views" on psychological/medical conditions? Such conditions are not a matter of doctrinal belief or of morality.
