My wife and parents are what we call Chrtian fundies. The father of my wife is a pastor. It looks as if they are all determined to brainwash my son to Christianity. Since my son is only 5 I think he will be an easy prey for them. But hopefully he once asked my wife who made God. How can I save him? He is too young for much reason and logic

Here is the idea. For the sake of the question and despite any negative opiniona of christianity, God exists and is all powerful. God is the personifcation of Good. Satan exists and is the personification of Evil. If God hates evil, why does he allow Satan to be exist>

If they got there before the avenger of blood caught them (the deceased's next-of-kin), they would be safe until the High Priest died. The roads to the cities were maintained, signed, and direct so anyone in Israel could reach one within half a day, max. Does this teach anything about God's provision of Christ's sacrificial death to save sinners from a symbolic 'avenger of blood' that might be at our heels?

when ever we speak. it seems he influences a sinful side of me. he goes as far as hitting me with cheap insults calling me an asian man. even though i am i like to be referred to as american or southern man. even though i ain't really southern.

he believes in false gods or idols. he believes in stupid religions where you just like live, you live for the world. and then reincarnate. something like there is a god but he doens't know who it is. just stupid stuff.

i am christian. what should i do. not too long ago he tried to do tarot cards on me. and he believes in non-sense stuff like astral-projection.

I am not a sport hunter or trophy hunter. I will eat the meat. Tenderloin strap and rib-eye are my favorite. Many of the native people at work have their tools of harvest blessed by medicine men...but they choose not to share the knowledge with me, the Anglo.

Okay. Religion is something that is not easily changed.

So why do you spew your 'evidence' or thoughts on how the bible 'contradicts itself' all over Yahoo! Answers?

You get mad at "bible beaters" for shoving religion down your throat. So why do you shove your atheism down their throat?

Athiests: So what if they believe in God? You don't know them, why do you make it your problem?
Religious people: So what if we are infidels? Why do you keep saying "the bible is the only way" and preaching over the internet?

Moses was converted into Yahwism in Sinai desert seing burning bush. Then fires from the mountaintop inspired him to give his people 10 new principles of faith. So the religion of Jews en route from Egypt to Palestine was changed once and for all.

Was that Thera (Greece) volcano with columns of smoke and fire visible across the Med struck him that hard that he saw it as a revelation of a real, terrific god Yahweh? God of volcano eruption, fear and terror? Moses abandoned his older gods from Egypt, and various Baals, and created a totally new religion - that of one, powerful and deadly god. The god that secretly protects all Jews once they follow Mosaic instructions.

What if their Exodus happened some time before that great volcanic eruption? Would we have now a religion of Egypt, or maybe Mithraism, or even better that of Zoroaster?

Microwaves (EAT YOUR FOOD WHILE IT'S WARM!)

Digital Cable (We can only have 4 channels. NBC, CBS, ABC, and that's about it, lol!)

TiVo (Freezing TV is insane! Pretty soon we'll have the power to time travel)

DVD Players/VCRs (You can watch 166 mm/8mm movies instead)

CDs/Cassettes (How about if only Records existed?)

Ipods (Wanna listen to music? Listen to it at home! Not at school)

Video Games (NO PS2 or X Box)
