i would really like to own my own home. for the last four years of my son's life we have been apartment dwellers. we can't afford to even rent a house at this time. there are things you miss living in an apartment. even tho we live on a nice side of town, my son doesn't really have his "own" yard. we also can't have a dog here, and he really wants one. we don't have enough room for everything we own and we can't change the wall color or add on a bedroom. we live in a fourplex, on the top floor, so we have to walk softly and we are concious of our neighbors comings and goings.
i know it probably seems silly, it would be a better answer if i said something more profound. but truthfully a house is what i want for my son. especially as he gets older and where you live and what you live in becomes important in school.

Getting the people I am surrounded by to be more courteous. I notice that in this day and age it's the "better then thou" attitude that is making societies suck.

To make enough money where my family can live comfortably, instead of paycheck to paycheck. I'm tired of worrying if buying 'this next cup of coffee' is going to break my wallet.
