Jehovah Witnesses don't celebrate anything, but believe in the afterlife, as they are a sect of Christianity.
I am an atheist, but I do celebrate birthdays, family traditions and holidays. They are fun. I just don't believe in an afterlife or religious stuff. So, what is the big deal? Why do you care anyway? This is an old arguement.

3 comments: First, you're complicated intelligence with education and stupidity with lack of understanding. a persons'' inherent intelligence is previous their administration. the difficulty with Christianity is that that is only too frequently used to justify a particular willfully ignorant worldview. 2d, tremendous intelligence frequently places a comfy human being at odds with their friends and motives tremendous disappointment at a time even as acceptance seems so considered necessary. the outcome is that very smart teens frequently fail to advance the emotional adulthood they pick to handle their lives. The very smart are frequently compulsive perfectionists and their personal severest critics. finally, i imagine you're nicely proper -- that persons of trouble-free intelligence have an more convenient and happier existence. third, someone who's both smart and knowledgeable frequently feels they convey about a particular social burden, a duty to humanity to apply their presents properly, to assist advance the human project and strive against social injustice. That places them instantly at odds with prepared faith, which persists in cutting-area cases through encouraging the dedicated to proceed to be willful ignorant and through creating incessant calls for for necessary social uniformity.
