I was raised in a semi-religious home and attended Catholic schools...but he asked me what the relationship was between the Holy Spirit and the Father and the Son....I responded "it is the mystery of faith" in kind of a humorous tone. He said "no really" and I felt kind of ashamed that I could not easily spit out an answer. So I said "the Holy Spirit is the unknowing and all encompassing embodiement of the Father and Son...it just is what it is." I know.....lame. He said he knew the Father as 'God', the Son as 'Jesus' and the Holy Spirit as 'what??'....how would you answer his question.

I come from a very religious christian family and i've traveled alot to eastern and southern africa. Most of my life, i've lived in white neighbohoods and went to white schools and my chuch is white. but along the way i've made some awesome friends of different races. My sister married a black guy and im really close with his sister whose like my age. I brought her to church and everyone was like "whose that black girl with you" and I felt really disgusted. Its sad that I worship and love a God who made us all equal but our churches are still segragated, most churches are directed to one race. We have our own churches, asians have theirs, blacks, hispanics e.t.c when my sister married a black boy my parents freaked, they are not racist but they dont look at black people as their equal and every time we visit africa my family looks at the people over their like they are trash. I know their are some people who are alot worse and who hate other races with a passion. Why?

My battery went out while I was at the gym and this guy whom I sort of like, works there, and i called him and asked him if he could give me a jump because my battert died, and he explained that one of his client's were coming in, but he'll see if he can help me..so he called me back and said, he couldn't because his client was expected to show up any minute , but he did ask around, and one of his co worker's would help me, out...and then after that he went on to explain that he was very sorry, that he wasn't able to give me a jump himself, and that if his client wasn't coming in...he assured me that he would do it himself...now my question is do you think there is more to what he was saying, like does it sound more personal or business, and should that be counted against him considering the fact that he didn't come out and help me anyway...and do you think he likes me...oh no it's not alot to go on..but the fact that he was overexplaining himself as to why he wasn't able to help me

have another concern..the fact that ..I had an appointment with him today...and when I called to confirm..he tells me that he can't do the appointment ..that he set the time for because he has other people...now keep in mind this session was free..and he never called me before today to let me know that the session would need to be rescheduled..plus.....when I seen him a few days ago..he comes up to me and says oh I'll see you on friday...then I notice that when he'll see me he always asks me why am I leaving and is he the reason for it...

I had to repost because people thought A B and C were 3 different points of view.

This person does not believe in any god, gods or godesses. This person believes that if god exists, it is impossible to know or understand, so saying it is one, two, ten, male, female, or a flying spaghetti monster can all be as valid because there is no information exists to say otherwise. Therefore, the question of god is irrelevant. However, given the evidence of the world, it suggests that if a god were to exist, it would be deistic.

Personally I'd define this person to be an Atheist. What about you?

so how does it work? I know the basic theory is you can have many lives in many different bodies/forms. So how did it start? Are there new souls/lives created that are 'new' in my circle of friends...Is there a total maximum number of times I can come back??? Seems like there would be too many souls and not enough bodies to go around. Do some souls 'combine' into one body and become a new 'soul'....just curious.

The girls that are getting pregnant are getting younger and younger. It used to be like 19 or 18 but now its like my age 13, I don't understand how this all happened. Is being a 13 year old pregnant girl begging to be normal? and I subscribed to a tyra newsletter and I read that there will be an episode about a prostitute at 13. and its not just pregnancy, I see children was younger than me smoking and drinking. I smoked once and I felt guilty and told my mom and she said it was ok to smoke only socially. so tell me what is happening to the world?

The holy quran says :ALLAH GUIDES WHOM HE WILLS AND LETS ASTRAY WHOM HE WILLS.
It also says:WHO SO EVER ALLAH GUIDES NO ONE CAN LEAD HIM ASRAY AND WHO SO EVER ALLAH LEADS ASTRAY NO ONE CAN LEAD HIM.
So you see people have already been classified before they were born and there is nothing we can do about it. Why bother ourselves with prayers and fasting?

....targeted less by hackers? i mean 400 dollars for vista ultimate. that's pathetic. think of what you could spend 400 dollars on. you can use that for a holiday/trip. i would say if they made it cheaper then everyone would buy it. and there would be less piracy. it's all ok billy gates donating some of his dosh to charity, but who is he stealing from.... US the customers.
