If he were living in Egypt it would have been beer. I brew beer to the glory of God, so if a tee-totaler says it's grape juice tell him he's an idiot for twisting the words of the Bible for his own "works-for-salvation-god."

Assumptions are most always false which creates a liar in the one doing the assuming. Jesus drank wine and He turned water into wine.Such is the science of grape juice when it is sweetened to fermenting which allows it to be kept for long periods of time. I, as a Christian, am not a part of your lie.

The wine of their day used a short fermentation to kill the bacteria in the water. There was no Chlorine to kill such in their time. Their water was generally very polluted with human excrement and many washed in the rivers and streams so it was not very good to drink. The best way to describe it is very weak alcohol at best. Have a great evening.

You can't be a Christian if you don't believe the Bible.
Wine in those days can mean either, it's all the fruit of the vine.
But I believe that the wine back then that they drank was a lot less potent than it is now.

the bible is the massege of god but it was altered by humans since it was written long time ago after Jesus(pbuh) went up to the heavens, and was written mostly by people who did not meat jesus in his life nor were of his massengers like "Polos" ,who had never met jesus in his life ,and said in his masseges in the new testemony that he met jesus "like a very shiny light" in his way to damascus, and then he converted to christianity ,and wrote most of the masseges of the new testomony . Polos was the one who made the very big changes in the christianity,
and if you study polos's masseges carefully you will notice the big contradictions in them specially in definig jesus,
so, you find out that many christians who studied the bible and the new testemony will tend to not beleive that it is true!so they refuse it all, though there are verses that have the massege of god in it!

It's wine. Anyone who says it isn't is lying to justify some sort of BS belief that a communion should be grape juice.

the Hebrew text had no word for wine the word for grape juice is the same as wine I suspect it was wine at the wedding but grap juice at the last supper there is no suggestion Jesus drank the wine at the wedding.

Somehow the entire concept of the moment....is lost.
Christian's will actually debate over the alcohol content of the beverage and forget that a miracle happened.
Sad.

the two don't go together. you can't claim to be a Christian and pick and choose what parts of the Bible you want to believe.
