If you like another guy who looks straight. How do you really know his sexuality? Are there any tell-tale signs to do the trick?

It's mainly about the eyes, I think. If you look into his eyes longer than you should with an animalistic craving, and he reciprocates by doing the same combined with a smile and raised eyebrows, then I'd say he's gay. If he's oblivious, it probably means he's not looking at you in that way.
The straightest-looking gay guys can still have slightly more animated hand movements than usual. This is very subtle and most heterosexuals don't notice. Observe what your hands do when you're sitting doing nothing (like watching a presentation or something), and compare this to all the guys around you; you might see a slight difference.

I've found that gay men don't "hide it" anymore. Some are more feminine than others and quite easy to spot. The masculine gay men have a softness about them when they smile like Rock Hudson--there's a sign for ya--and sometimes a little femininity comes through. Just watch a person and you can tell. I was in the military and oh boy we used to know!!! Marines are rough and tough, and a lot of them are gay. Observation is the key.
