couldn't it be descriminition to shorter women I am 5'1 not to be able to be runway models (High Fashion). I know there are other venus, magazine clothes model, hand model, commercial areas.. there are lot's of georgous women under the 5'9 that if given chances could do well.We say it isn't fair, they say no it isn't but thats the way it is.They say the market doesn't want short models, but how do you know what you want or don't want if you've never tried it? If you below these height standards would you like to model? Just curious

Is this correct? It does not matter how much you pressure non-Christians, they will go to Hell whether or not you intervened in their lives.

So how is it fair for an atheists in a 99% Christian community to be converted and go to Heaven yet you have people in places where it is 99% Muslim and they don't convert to Christianity and go to Hell? The playing ground is grossly uneven. Surely you will the Muslim is at a disadvantage. To him, Christianity is foreign and how many of you have honestly opened up to a foreign religion?

It seems to me that an atheist devoted to upsetting christians could do it much more readily than a christian trying to upset an atheist.

I mean there are all kinds of Jesus jokes you could pull out if you really wanted to. Heck, I know a Jesus joke that I'm even afraid to repeat (although I have done it twice).

Mind-Body dualism is the idea that one's consciousness exists separate from one's biological body and brain.

In language, this is demonstrated by the sentence, "I have a body" (rather than the non-dualistic sentence, "I am a body").

But research into subjects who have suffered brain injuries indicates that consciousness is inextricably linked to your physical brain.

Has the phrasing of our language deluded humans into believing that our thoughts exist unattached to our physical bodies?

I was born into a Christian home,

and went to church since i could remember...

After learning hearing about gays..lesbians at about 12years..i found out that I WAS one..

then I found that out Gay people, will not inherit the kingdom of heaven and go to hell.

I have had this gay orientation ever since i could remember..I just felt attracted to guys. But the thing is, i feel attracted to males, but WISH NOT TO!! i have the gay orientation but NONE desire what so ever to marry a gay or date another GUY. because it is quite a serious SIN. i was want to be normal and feel attracted to girls. (adam and eve not steve)

I discovered masturbation at a very very young age..say...6? and learned that it is condemned..now I am trying my hardest to stop.

Is there any hope of change? or is Christ wiling to grant me eternal life with him despite my orientation?

I have been praying for a orientation change lately, has anyone experience with stuff like this?

Peace

in a person when they do something so bad and weird that you cannot comprehend why that person might have done that? A family member did something so weird and scary that I cannot understand...it haunts me to this day and I would ask her but I know it would hurt her and it hurts me just thinking about it.

We witness flowers grow, babies been formed and our bodies digesting food without us having any knowledge or choice. The entire universe is working around the clock 24/7.

Where is this all coming from. Is an intelligent God person guiding all this work, or has the universe itself evolved to this point?

I want to know if anyone thinks there are any universal morals. This requires that it be a moral all over the world.

For example, you could say "Don't kill". Then explain why you think it is truly a universal moral and if there are exceptions.

How do you judge upon first meeting someone? Everyone judges the second they see you. I am not a fan of judgement, but do it inevitably. I think that there is a line between those that judge and go no furthur, and those that judge and find out if they're right or wrong. I was at a party the other night and there was a good variety of people. Some I was good friends with, some I had never met. At one point a couple sterotypical preppy rich white blonde girls came over, and I felt like they were judging my lower middle class self, with a couple piercings and a slightly dark style. Then I realised that it was me that was judging. So, when you first see someone, what do you judge? Clothes, race, weight, appearance, posture, habbits etc? Do you take time to figure out if your right or wrong? Do you think that the first impression you give off to others is correct?
