I've found that Christian preachers who have "found God"appear to have what they call inner peace. (basically they have less negative emotions)
Surely you can have this inner peace if you just have good morals and lead a healthy lifestyle?

This doesn't technically matter now, but for a while it was something I wrestled with. My step-sister is a traditional Catholic, and extremely pregnant. For a while there was talk of my being asked to be Godfather to her child. If I could not in all conscience renounce the Devil and all his works, would my only course have been to decline or lie? If you get any translation of the koran, whether german, french, etc., you will see huge areas that are not tranlsated from the arabic. what do these untanslated texts reveal about islam that the arabs do not want anyone who is not arab to know?

We're not, and please don't quote the bible to me, we are far more intelligent but that doesn't mean we are superior, when catholics and other religions say we are, i believe god is offended, he could be saying "How dare you believe that you are better to my animals". Its crap, we are animals, just very dominant.
