All churches abuse children, by indoctrinating them before they are old enough to make up their own minds, by teaching them that myths are truth, by scaring them with things like Hell, by verbally abusing them, physically abusing them, and sexually abusing them. Religion does not place a high value upon children, except as lifelong converts. The pastor who tells an eight year old about Hell is just as bad as the priest who fondles an altar boy. It is all a violation of the child.

Not all Catholics Priests are paedophiles and the Catholic Church are not protecting them any more

They are trying to protect their powerful institutions, to hell with the kids they mean next to nothing in this big power game. Remember institutions that abuse kids abuse us all.
