I believe the New Testament is a good historical record and a source for doctrine and morality. I have not yet learned Hebrew or studied ancient Israel so I cannot say much about the authenticity of the Old Testament.

The 1149 chapters are a delightful mixture of borrowed myth, parable, poetry, history, analogy, metaphor and more. No one is saved by believing the Bible. It is in believing Jesus that we are saved.
